that pretty much sums it up, RJ is great at playing off other people so he will get his no matter what, even if the offense isn't ran through him, unlike Vince who needs the ball to be effective.

The big key for Swift in this one was not getting pissed about not playing in the first half. In yesterdays game against Chicago, Nachbar shoots 1/10 but was the first guy off the bench today. Swift didn't play at all after shooting 4/5 yesterday...

I was a bit pissed the Nets went with the small lineup with Nachar at PF down the stretch... that's the same thng the Grizzlies were doing to Stromile earlier in the season and it didn't work for them.

At lest Stromile played well again...

Hate to throw him under the bus but Sean Williams had horrible game. He missed a dunk, got dunked on at least 3 times, maybe more, and gave up a few offensive boards...

I'm rooting for Stromile to get a starting spot at some point but as long as he plays at all it's good for the team.

Yeah I mean, I like Williams a lot but since Swift battles with him for PT I tend to see what he does wrong a lot more than I did before. Anyway, I thought that Swift played like he needs to for him to help his team even if he didn't score.

Contested pretty much every shot he could, and helped the Nets make a run before that last stretch. One good thing about him making a first appearance so late in the game is that he can be aggressive and not be scared to pick up fouls.

Very good game by Carter tonight, he was everywhere out there. This team is gonna need that kind of effort from him if they wanna make it in the playoffs.

Very happy. Biggest win of the year. Knocks a hot Atlanta team down a peg and takes the tie-breaker.

Vince is awake and interested throughout. Atlanta played well almost whole game, but we never backed down or staggered. RJ was Robin to Vince's Batman. That's how it's got to be for us to do well.

And I made sure I posted a "GO NETS!!!" before this game. I think I may have jinxed the Chicago game by not doing my usual RGM post before the game. :-?

Well I'd say the Denver game will probably be an entertaining one seeing as both teams play no defense.

Great game by VC. Keep it up, VC.

We need you too play better.

Marcus should play with Harris more. Harris should play SG when Marcus is on the floor. Frank needs to explain to Marcus - You are our PURE PG. Play like one. Pick and Roll. Penetrate and Dish. If you are open, then you can score.

Marcus has been a little confused lately. He tries to play the point but instead of passing he's turning the ball over. He drives but then gets caught in the air and dumps the ball off to the other team. strange how he's doing that.

my only qualm about marcus is that he's not a good finisher. He's not very athletic, doesn't get off the ground well enough to get a decent look or draw the foul. Other than that If he just played hard he'd be a great distributor. His shot is there too. I'm relatively confident with him open at the 3 point line.

AWESOME game by VC. If he would give us this 4 out of every 6 games this team would not be in the hole it is in now!!

Just keep the ball in Devin and VC's hands, feed Curly the rock in the post and on the pick and pops and no matter what defense we are against good things will happen.

Not that this team likes to play tough d or anything lol

Marcus' skillset doesn't allow him to be much of a scoring threat in the post. His skills work well with multiple screen set plays, 1on1 iso, or him offball for open mid-long range shots. Playing hard won't matter much. We just have a extremely stagnant offense for us to do anything really creative. The only things that will consistently set us apart from other teams are the talents of our Big 3 and a healthy Kristic. When one, or more, goes down...our leads will fade away as quick as this game when VC was on the bench. Frank really needs to find out how to combine the talents of our roster with good chemistry, or we'll see a very quick 1st round exit.

Frank's small ball crap doesn't help either. Funny how he burns a sophmore for ill advised shooting and TOs, yet Boki gets a free pass for 1/10 shooting along with extremely poor defense. Swift gets a pretty decent game from CHI and against ATL. I wonder if he's going to give more min to Sean again...
