it's actually his range that is poor. The J is reliable but the range
is definitely limited. As evidenced by his lousy 3 pt %.
But he's been slumping this year at the FT line.
dobrojim wrote:the way captn AJ is playing, I really wonder if some of the estimates of what he could be signed for are truly realistic. No question he's having a career year. Even though we've got nice looking young fwds coming up, losing AJ would be a huge loss for us. For the past
month he's carried the team (duh) in a similar way to what TJ was
doing earlier in the season before getting hurt
.
If Gil gets healthy this year and regains most of his mojo,
we are going to be scary. Seriously scary.
Talk earlier in the thread about falling to 7th and playing DET
doesn't scare me that much. If we're healthy, I like our chances
against most any EC team. We're still right on TOR's tail so they've
got pressure the same as PHL is putting on us. The home game vs
DET coming up could be huge. Especially since the first couple games
out west are the more winnable ones.

Or you could have lost by a far greater margin if Gilbert Arenas played and Caron Butler doesn't have a torn labrum in his hip and a chipped bone in his hand. But in the end, what happened happened. A win is a win and a loss is a loss.

Man Im going to be jacked up by whoever we play especially Orlando or Cleveland, both arrogant know-it-all fanboys, both their fans are de-classe to the max.

MagicNolesFSU wrote:Yeah but carons injuries wont go away and gil wont be near 100 percent for the playoffs. Im okay with a one point loss considering there is no way we shoot 20 percent for a game again. Magic in 5 in the playoffs.

Caron's injuries will heal in time and any Gilbert is better than no Gilbert.

I'm just baffled the Wizards win by essentially leaving your team open from the perimeter to collapse on Howard. That seems to me a lame strategy but doggone if it didn't work, tonight. That 40% three point shooting of the Magic coupled with the 35 attempts from three would seem to be a sure loss to the opponent on most any other night, MagicNolesFSU.![]()
I think if/when the Magic and Wizards meet in the playoffs I'll be screaming at Eddie Jordan.![]()
How on earth can you beat a team with three point shooters like Hedo, Lewis, Bogans, Evans, Garrity, and Cook; by leaving the perimeter to go collapse on Dwight Howard?????

He sure shouldn't have to take a pay cut and I know a lot of teams would pay whatever they could given the tax to sign him.
