I should point out, the coverage here is fairly poor I haven't seen Lopez, Bayless or Jordan ... or Gallinari, so I have to eliminate those guys when I'm looking at potential draftees (since I prefer having seen a guy myself rather than going purely off scouting reports).

None of those three are very good fits. Jordan is athletic and big as hell but is a project. Lopez is a pure back to the basket scorer (I don't think he ends up being better than Bogut by any stretch). Bayless is an amazing athlete and scorer, but as a PG not a creator. BPA if he was there we'd have to take a look, but he's basically just a more athletic/bigger Mo.

Every time I watch Lopez I come away unimpressed. Good college player but I don't see a big-time NBA player. I keep wanting to see the guy I keep reading about but I never do.

Agreed. I hope someone takes him before we pick and it drops someone better down to us.

By the way - if you're a Badgers fan and a Bucks fan thinking O.J. Mayo will be the pick next summer then you have to be pumped about the potential second-round matchup of UW-USC in the tourney.

I know I am.

As a Badger fan, I'm hoping K State pulls the upset because I think UW matches up much better with them. But it will be fun to watch UW against a top 10 pick regardless.

I'm looking forward to the Mayo-Bohanon showdown.

I'm supposed to be working until late tonight. I might bug out a couple hours early to catch the USC/K-State game. That should be a beauty.

Easily the most intriguing first round game.
