POG Celtics @ Mavs

Post#1 » by your_dallas_mavericks » Thu Mar 20, 2008 2:12 pm

Who will it be?
Who could it be?
Who will be the player of the game?

Must they be a Mav?
Should they be a Mav?
"Yes", said YDM, "they must be a Mav."

Could it be a coach?
Or a mascot too?
How about some dancers?
or ManiAACs in blue?

No, said the YDM
and I will say it again
it must be a player
and it must be a Mav...
If we could just close games with Luka, Kyrie, Green, Maxi, and Wood that'd be great...

Calling you out, Kidd. Calling you out!

Before the game you say who should step up and who to blame if they don't and we lose.

Kidd for triple-double.
Juwan gets his wish and gets to play with Garnett...with a closeline. We don't care if he gets suspended.
Lue to get 12 reb (like Rondo did last time)
Dirk to outscore the Celics big 3 by himself.

The only way Kidd can get from under this rock is with the united force of optimism!

If Paul Pierce is the Mav's POG, that means he had 25 missed shots, 7 turnovers and 7 fouls!

Did Marty McFly go back in time and change the Mavs pick in '98 from Tractor Traylor to Pierce? Gawd, I hope not...

Because the only way Pierce is the POG if he's a Mav.

And last I checked, he ain't.

Sorry Mr Paaaaaaaaaaaaaaahked my Caaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah so faaaaaaaaaaaah from the AAC but not in my thread brutha man!

Advance Edit: Actually Marty McFly would have to go forward in time from 1985 to 1998 but that's neither here nor there...

^^^ unless it was the McFly from 2015 who got Griff Tannen's sportsbook that said DAL would draft Tractor Traylor and McFly thought he was doing DAL a favor by changing that to Pierce

I'd go with Dirk even though it is another losing effort.

22 pts, 19 reb, 2 bls

WCOY? What's that?

Edit: I figured it out, Worst Coach of the Year...

No, he's not - that goes to Isiah hands down.

As a celts fan I say Josh Howard, he's the only guy that did his job all 4 quarters for you IMO
