We can get there. IMO we'll have the 5th spot by the end of this weekend.
The east is just that easy.

The West on the other hand isn't. Some of the better teams out West will not make the playoffs this year.

The thing that makes the Sixers recent 16-4 run a little more impressive is that 7 of those victories have come against the West including beating the Nuggets, Spurs, Suns and Mavs, plus two wins against top three teams in the East, Orlando and Detroit. There are certainly some cupcakes like Memphis, Miami and the Clips mixed in there too, but earlier this year we were considered premium cupcake material for other teams. 34-34 might not seem impressive for the season, but when you put it into context of their recent play it's pretty great.
