So, the Jazz gonna win tonight? I have no feel on this one.
The Lakers are playing good team basketball. I think we'll need to bring our A game to win tonight.
Plenty of rest. At home. I see no reason we shouldn't bring our A game.
I think a lot depends on Boozer. Some nights he just doesn't have it. But, most nights he's a monster. If he has a 25-12 game I think we win this. If he goes 22-6, I worry. If he goes 15-6 I think we're toast.
The first quarter usually tells teh story for Boozer, lets hope he comes out on fire.

"Thibs called back and wanted more picks," said Jorge Sedano. "And Pat Riley, literally, I was told, called him a mother-bleeper and hung up the phone."

Well, I would say you're only missing Bynum cause you guys shouldn't have Gasol anyways if Memphis wasn't having their idiotic fire sale. Either way, it would be nice to play a full strength Laker team, especially on national TV.
Well I guess we're even because you guys really shouldn't have Boozer. How can you lose with logic like that.

Lakers SUX!!!!11
CJ Miles > Kobe Bryant!1
Derek Fisher Sux!!!!!1 T@tum rocks though.
Muahahahah!!!! Those Los Angeles people? Who do they think they are? Americans? muahahah!!!!11111
Ronny Turiaf = Chuck Norris, Jordan Famar = Jew
ha ha... just teasing yah... I think is gonna be a fun rivalry for years to come. Off court is kinda bad to have a rivalry (it's just basketball, not worth to make enemies that way), but on court the crowd should make the rivalry come to life.

As far as Fisher goes, I really have no beef with him leaving, it's more his terrible play that cost the Jazz countless games in crunch time that bothers me. I was booing him all last season so it was no different when he played with the Lakers.
On top of that if he can't handle it, get a job in an office somewhere and stop signing 5 million dollar contracts to play basketball all over the world.
As far as the game goes, it will be a tough game, and the Lakers will keep it interesting, but as long as the Jazz don't play terribly they should win this game.

Jazz fans feel burned by Fisher because of how quickly he signed with the Lakers. Jazz fans in general hate the Lakers. If he would have gone to New York, nobody would have questioned his intentions, and he probably would have got a standing ovation in his return to ESA. The playoff game vs. Golden State last year when he returned from NY late in the game and gave us a lift is a legendary Jazz moment.
I personally am a Fisher fan, Williams and the rest of the team learned a lot from him in his time here. And him leaving got the Jazz out of his huge contract, and got Brewer on the floor much earlier. We probably would have never acquired Korver if Fisher were still here. I think it worked out perfect for the Jazz to have Fish for one year and then say good-bye.
Tonight....Jazz 122 Lakers 106

What a stupid post. Fisher will get booed mainly because Jazz fans hate the Lakers and now that Fisher is on the Lakers, he's the enemy. Fans aren't booing him for taking care of his daughter, if that was the case we would have booed him for missing game time when he was on the Jazz last year. It pisses me off when people come over to our board and make stupid comments about Utah and it's residents, most of them haven't ever even been to Utah.

Yeah, but you've predicted a loss for like the last twelve games in a row. Are you really a Jazz fan or a Denver fan who pretends to be a Jazz fan?

yeah tonight would be a good night to have Kobe on your fantasy team; athletic players seem to know we have terrible lateral defense and they take advantage.
With the whole Fisher thing, i'm still thinking it's pathetic to boo him. The guy comes in and gives us experience and some big minutes in the playoffs...the very night he gets back from New York.
I honestly don't care what his motives were, but citing his pristine reputation, i doubt his intentions were that malignant toward utah.
Bottom line is, his departure freed up time for Ronnie B to prove himself and opened up room for K2. I'll take it.

If you are a former jazz player and somewhat of a role player at least you will hear the boos the next year after leaving, its just how it goes, did Gira deserve to be booed? No, hell he deserved to be cheered for getting us Kyle. The only player that left that came back to have a chance of not being booed was Malone, but he never played agaisnt the jazz in utah, he may have also been booed, no one really knows, the jazz fans aren't fans of a player like say the cavs fans with Lebron(not bashing just making a point) they are fans of the team, If Sloan left to go coach another team you would bet he would get booed on his return. As far as the game goes, lets just have an injury free game, and a result we on this board like.
