KSU vs. USC (Beasley vs. Mayo)

This has been a pretty good game. Both stars have played well. I'm growing more and more fond of both players.

Beasley played well with fouls. He was aggressive but managed not to rack up extra fouls for the most part, from what I saw...besides one foul less than a minute into the second. Mayo had that impressive strip leading to his own and 1, plus some nice 3s.

Mayo did nothing to impress me down the stretch, he looked hesitant, I kept waiting for him to "take over" and start knocking down three's or getting to the hole but it never came.

How were you able to watch "down the stretch?" It switched to Duke for me.

^^^Same here.

Mayo did have the stretch where he pushed USC into the lead, and then from there the wheels came off. Ultimately they weren't going to win as they could not rebound or put together good, consistent offensive possessions. They also had significant lapses on defense as well.

^ You can watch the games online on CBS Sportsline for free. I did that while at work. Works like a charm

I really loved how mayo didn't force shots on the offensive end, but tried to find the open man instead (5 assists). Mayo had some nice steals and deflections, too. They lost due to foul trouble of their big men.
The other reason why mayo couldn't deliver down to stretch was maybe because he nearly played the whole game, w/o any time on the bench.

Despite this loss, I liked the way he played which is why I have him on my list as pick 3 or 4 atm.
