I'm with Worm- no Darko, no Daly. That kind of cap hit for so little production would guarantee a future stuck in mediocrity.

I'd rather have Pryzbilla than either of them. Maybe Bogut could be had if their new GM decides to clean house (although I'm not a big fan of him either)?

O'bryant is worth a shot b/c of the minimal investment/risk it would take.

I'm warming to the prospect of gambling of Deandre Jordan at the 4th pick or after.

Yeah that might be our only play, because I am pretty sure that Memphis would select Lopez at 3 (if the balls land where they should.... hmmmm). I just don't think hibbert or Thabeet should go that high, but then again, I didn't think Sheldon williams would either.

Drafting Jordan would not make us much better next year, so we still will add a decent draft pick the following draft and then hopefully it would all come together in 09. Our progress in 08'/09' will soley be from how well our current guys gel.

I don't trade #4 for any of those guys. I mean you're sort of expecting a player of that caliber in the top 5, so why would we trade #4 + Walker contract for that? I might see what I could get for Walker + Miami and Boston picks.

I agree that you're expecting that kind of player in the top 5, but the draft is a crap shoot in some cases. So it really depends on how strongly you feel about who we could get in the top 5 vs. a somewhat more provern commodity. I would definitely be shopping Walker plus the Miami and Boston picks as they should have lot of value. Adding a top 5 pick plus the potential player we could get with that package would probably give us a pretty solid core to roll with.
