Adamcz, those are good numbers, but by virtue of the time period you picked, it makes Kohl look good. Start with the 1991-92 period and work from there and let's see what you get. Do the last 17-years.
Basically we had 7 straight terrible non-playoff years from 91-98. Because of those bad years, we did an average job of accumulating talent (Vin Baker, Big Dog, Ray) Those three guys finally came on-line in 1998 and took a terrible team and made it average. And then for the last ten years you can follow the lineage of those three players and how through trades, they supplied the additional talent that kept the team in the 30-41 win range up through the 2006 season.
If you add in the 7 crap seasons while we accumulated that talent, I'd love to see the results.
BTW.....
Vin Baker produced Brandon/Hill who produced Tim Thomas, Sam Cassell and Scott Williams.
Big Dog produced Kuckoc and TJ who produced CV
Ray produced GP and Desmond who produced Magloire.....
The whole Bucks lineage goes back to those three high lotto picks in 1993, 94 and 96. Add in a second round gem in Michael Redd and there is your entire talent base for the last 15-years.
The scary thing is that at least to date, our last big #1 picks (TJ, Bogut, Yi) haven't produced for us what Vin, Glenn and Ray did.

Pre-Kohl (1968-1985)
1 NBA title
2 Conference Titles
11 Division Titles
(With Jabbar : 1 NBA title, both conference titles and 5 division titles and 6 division titles without Jabbar)....
900 wins and 576 losses a winning percentage of 0.610
The Kohl Years (1986 to present)
2 division titles (one with Don Nealson and Wayne Embry his first year as owner)
No conference or NBA titles.
807 wins and 950 losses that comes to a winning % of 0.459
Now for a little more perspective if you take away the seasons under Don Nelson & Wayne Embry things really become instructive. Since Kohl chased off Nelson with his meddling;
He and Del Harris (Larry's dad) rode the talent that Nelson and Embry had collected and fashioned as a team. Until the core got too old and after the 1990-91 season the bottom drooped out and Kohl was left essentially to fend for himself.
Since the 1991-92 season to present the Milwaukee BUCKS HAVE WON 1-division title in 17 seasons. Have made the playoffs 6 times and have finished above 0.500 3 times.
The overall record is as follows:
574 wins and 773 losses that comes to a winning % of 0.426
In that same period the LA Clippers
506 wins and 841 losses that comes to a winning % of 0.375
Expansion teams
Vancover/Memphis Grizzlies (been in league since 1995-96 season)
3 winning seasons
334 wins and 685 losses 0.328
Toronto Raptors (been in the league since 1995-96)
4 winning seasons
423 wins and 597 losses 0.415
CHA/NO Hornets that came into the League in 1988 with one of the worse owners in league...
SInce 1991-92
9 winning seasons
706 wins and 641 losses with a winning % of 0.524
Washington Wizards/Bullets
544 wins and 803 ... 0.404
The Bucks differ from the Clippers and The Wizard/Bullets in one way. The Bucks have avoided 60 and 50 loss seasons. I think it is one of the reasons Bucks' fans have been so patient.
The Wizaed/bullets have since 1990 lost 50 or more games 9 times and 60 or more 3 times with a max of 63 losses. Including a stretch of 6 50 loss seasons in a row.
The Clippers have had since 1984 15 50 or more loss seasons including one stretch of 7 50-plus loss seasons.
They have had 7 60-plus loss seasons with a 70 loss season mixed in.
The Bucks during the Kohl era have been bleeding slowly;
THe Bucks have only had 6 50-plus loss season under Herb. All since the 91-92 season. The Bucks have lost 60-plus once (1993-94 when the lost 62 games)...
Part of the reason that there has been this uprising in Bucks nation is because for the first time since the a three year stretch 91-92, 92-93 and 93-94 the bucks are about to put together back to back 50 loss seasons, and 3 out the last 4 seasons.
The threshold for tolerance around here appears to be 45 loss or so a season.
