The emotion that Miller showed after that "and 1" in the guts of the game was by far the most animated he has been on the floor since he's been here, IMO ("kiss my azz, George...").

i was just about to psot exactly the same thing.i never seen dre miller happier/motivated than after that play.

I can't remember the last sixers game I have been to that was a sell out. It was amazing, the crowd was so loud. Saw a couple of fights too, it felt like an eagles game.

As for the game, it was really a team effort. I mean almost everyone contributed something to this game. Miller was great. Iggy had a nice all around game. Daly going for 17, 12, and 5 was nice. I love thad young. Green, Evans, Carney, Smith all contributed.

Which is kinda ironic. Whereas Iverson wears his flaws on his sleeve, Doc had the perfect public persona, meanwhile he's fathering illegitimate children who he abandons.

It's a contrast I've always found interesting.

Sure...as was mentioned in another post, nobody is perfect. Infidelity is something that is all too common in society...may be something that Iverson has struggled with as well...who knows?? I think Iverson is starting to get 'it' and growing up a ton...maybe he'll be (rightly or wrongly) associated with 'class' the way Doc was as well.

And that game ending sequence (right in front of me in Section 112) was so reminiscent of the flurry at the end of Game 5 of the Milwaukee series in the '01 playoffs...and just like you didn't expect Robinson to miss that baseline jumper, you were surprised that AI missed that shot at the end. It was a sickening feeling...watching AI going after US in the guts of the game...and hitting everything - except that last shot.

Was thinking that exact thing, too.

Don't look now but we could be looking at .... COACH OF THE YEAR !!!

Maurice Cheeks nearly cost us that game with his peristance. 5+ minutes, he stuck with a lineup that clearly wasn't getting it done on neither end untill Jason Smith came in.

A decent coach would've subbed a few guys in...
