Rondo played hurt

Post#1 » by Gant » Fri Mar 21, 2008 2:55 am

I don't know if this warrants its own thread or if anyone mentioned it, but the reason Rondo had that game was because he played with a bad back:

"And while Rajon Rondo was suffering from back stiffness, he was planning to give it a go tonight."

That's fine....wasn't mad at him missing shots but the turnovers have got to be lower than that.

Makes sense, and we all remember this injury when it happened. Glad to see Boston pull out huge wins regardless of all circumstances :)

Thank god. Cause his performance tonight was probably the worst of any celtic this season...

Kidd seems to be his own personal kryptonite.

I'm not sure I remember Rajon having many or any good performances against him.

I just hope Doc doesnt over play Rondo and have Rondo end up turning that sore back into something worse. We Definitely need him for the play-offs.

Why do people always come up with the sam sentence after every game for a different player?

I thought Doc made a wise decision inserting Sam Cassell when he did... Sam's "veteran" presence made a huge difference at the end of that game....

It just wasn't Rondo's night... injury or no....

We have a well balanced and deep bench....For the most part, Doc made excellent use of that bench on this trip!

Props to him!
