+1

I thought it was KG's defense that was the difference making last night. What an exciting came to watch.

Surprised by the ray picks as I thought it was Pierce by a mile.

Ray took the air out of the ball way too frequently and his actions threw the whole offense into discombobulation. How many times does Ray need to shoot over two people on a pick-and-roll and the picker is wide open at the tin?

Yeah, big shot by Ray and kudos for that but I honestly believe we wouldn't have even been in that situation if Ray doesn't F-up the flow like he did.

Also nice to see Big Felatio's ass glued to the pine. Despite often playing with inside position with complimentary gift-wrapped minutes via Doc, Fatty McBuckets has recorded 17 defensive rebounds over his last 231 minutes. For those counting at home, that is one defensive rebound every 13.6 MP. Oh yeah, in that time he has also put up 16 turnovers or one turnover every 14.4 MP. No more freakin' Davis, already.

That's exactly what I thought and don't get that people are even picking Ray over everything Pierce did in that game.

Ray's triple was a killer and if you want to give it to him for that shot alone I can buy that. But don't say it is for any other reason he hardly played when the game was in the balance.

To me it was Pierce he played with energy when we had none as a team. He got steals and stops, essentially filling in for Tony Allen as well as being himself. I think the rest of the team was content not to make it all the way up the hill but Paul wouldn't let that happen, then Ray stuck the flag in.

Dallas had that game and had to have that game and still lost. I don't know if they are going to make the playoffs.

Pierce is just nasty on the defensive end.

Just curious if all of the people who are saying that Ray Allen didn't do anything last night watched the whole game?

It seems to me that your comments are 100% accurate if you limit yourself to the fourth quarter only. Pierce single-handedly took control of the game for about a 4-minute stretch in the middle of the fourth quarter (from when he was put back in the game to when he reverted to trying to win it with jumpers with about 4 minutes left), and Ray was nowhere to be seen until he sank his big three. No arguments there.

But I thought that Ray Allen came out of the gate hot in the first quarter, and helped set the tone for the game. It was not a one-shot effort for him. If you have the game Tivoed, watch it again.

Pierce.

Ray was hot early and hit the big 3, but jacked up a lot of bad shots in the first half and sat out most of the 4th.

KG's defense was, as usual, great, but he had a really poor offensive game and took some, I thought, questionable shots.

Pierce was the man.
