Didn't know this post would be so controversial, yeesh.
I believe Hansbrough will be a solid role player in the NBA. If he were a guard, I would agree that there is a high chance he will be a bust. But as a big, what is expected of you is different, and can be accomplished by hustle. Are you guys saying Hansbrough is less talented than Anderson Varajao? Because being a perpetual motion machine is what gives Sideshow Bob his NBA career. Plus, any white guy nick-named Psycho would be a great addition to the Orlando Magic big man stable, if nothng else than for the unintentional comedy factor. If he doesn't drop to us, well, this is a moo point (for the record, I know it is supposed to be moot point, don't get your panties in a bunch, it was another lost cultural allusion.)

What do you mean by "a good program"... it should be the best program!
Nevermind your mistake

Drsd,
Read my prior assessment to Mr. Hansbrough, my thinking was adding a solid role player. Augustine doesn't have the same grit "Psycho T" does. He will survive in the NBA by throwing his body around and annoying the crap out of star big men. Think Nocioni, Varajao, Haslem, Lee.
The 2nd point really works in conjunction with the 6th point. If we could add a guy like Arenas or Brand, I would assume a sign-and-trade would be utilized, centered around Mr. Turk.
As far as getting rid of both Evans and Bogans, only if we convince Mr. Maggette to wear number 1. See original post.
New socks to replace the ones that just got blown off and caught on fire. I keep a pretty large number on hand, just in case this happens.
I still want to see a video of Dwight, Jameer, Rashard, Turk, and Corey (yes, Mr. Maggette) walking around Disneyword for a day. Something tells me that'd be funnier than a dog eating peanut butter.
Sadly, I think the only players on our team with any sort of angry mindset are Jameer and Cook (maybe Dooling, as evidenced by his beat-down of Ray Allen. But the ninja way is not to be aggressive unless provoked). Everyone else lacks the enforcer mentality. Unfortunately, Jameer is like the little cronie from "A Christmas Story". Not really intimidating unless he has a big'un backing him up. (Maybe Scrappy Doo is a better comparison) And Cook, well, he appears to be be all talk. Unless the action involves throwing a towel at the face of one of the most respected coaches in basketball history. Then he is all for it.
Finally, sure, the new uniforms can be flame-resistant. So long as they aren't boring. And give us something unique besides frikken stars.

There is not a rookie available that would get minutes next year. At ~25, Mr. Magic-rookie will defenitly ride the bench. My point: Augustine can do that job.
As for Hansbrough:

Agreed, and thus .... As I said before, he WILL NOT be available at ~25. That he is a seasoned rookie (whatever that is) will help some team as they develop a bench.
