Kings at Spurs 3/21/08

Post#1 » by Ballings7 » Fri Mar 21, 2008 8:07 am

Manu may struggle with Ron Artest (as has gone, mostly), but regardless, I'm swaying to a Spurs win here

Beno didn't play last game with a strained back, not sure if he'll be playing yet.

Beno/Artest/Miller are questionable for today's game... But knowing Artest he is going to play no matter what... Anyways, I hope this game is a good and fun one...I love Manu's game, definitely on of my favorite non-Kings players... Parker will play his usual game, Duncan will destroy us in the inside, Finley (Kings killer), Oberto another layup drills on us, Bowen will play his usual game...Hopefully Bowen will not hurt Martin...If I was Martin, I will avoid Bowen's feet... Either way, I like to see how the Kings fare against an elite team like the Spurs...We always play an elite level against elite teams but we play at a bad level against bad teams...So, ehh...I expect the Spurs win this one...not by blowout but a competitive, hard fought win...Heck, I wont be surprised if the Kings manage to win...

Name the last player that's been hurt by Bowen. I mean *really* hurt. Waiting.....

Anyhoo, will probably be a close game but I think we'll pull out the W.

Hopefully the Spurs got their act together and can pull this win out against the Kings tonight.

Decent 1st half

Ron Artest playing very well, fun to watch

Finley looks to be seriously coming out of his slump now

Solid win!

The defense cooled down Artest in the 2nd half - but I just love watching him, such a unique beast of a player. I'd still like to see us take a run at him with the MLE in the off-season.

Bench really played strong, JV, Udoka, Kurt, Finley, Bruce played a terrific game, and the big three as a whole played well. JV and Thomas most notably.

I'm confident we'll beat Dallas Sunday... then watch Dallas get their first above .500 win with Kidd :P

I'm not overly impressed right now but this was a step in the right direction. I really need to see the Spurs beat a playoff team before I become happy again.

Barry really needs to replace Finley in the rotation. Although to Finley's credit he's played a bit better these last few games. I'm very disappointed in Damon Stoudamire, I really thought he would be a nice addition.

Return to San Antonio Spurs
