That was clearly a block by Smith as well, There has been at least 7 bad calls against Philly so far and only in the first quarter and a half. I typically don't complain about refs but this is inexcusable.

Wow that was a blur! That was the first time that I've ever seen Rodney Carney look fast in the half court offense. Bogans couldn't even react.

This game is exactly why I think a match-up with the Cavs is much better for us in the 1st round. We just don't match well with the Magic that being said I'm still hoping and pushing for a massive comeback.

Also the first team ever to have 5 offensive fouls in less than one half.

All the Sixers have to do is guard the perimeter, stop helping on Howard, stop helping on the penetrator, and hope that the refs stop calling foul EVERYTIME Howard receives the ball. The Sixers just need to play good, solid, honest extended man defense.

The Sixers need to stop helping converging on the driver. The Magic haven't shown yet that they are capable of making the shot off of the dribble.

Man some nights it's just not your night. This is looking like it's not the Sixers' night. It's all good though... this is just a small bump and nothing more.

That is my feeling. Let's face it ... the Magic is a very good team and even if the Sixers were playing a good game they might not win. Better to have a bad night tonight than later against the Nets.

While it looks like the Sixers aren't going to pull this one out... I can't help but get upset at how bad the officiating in this game has been. There have been way too many bad calls (offensive foul call on Lou, goaltending on Jason Smith, and a no call against the Magic for fouling Iguodala on a dunk) in this game. The Magic are playing well enough to win this on their own... when you compound that with bad officiating, well it takes away from the game.

 that the Sixers do to Orlando what they did to Chicago in the fourth quarter of their last game

Also... a game like tonight really makes me wonder how good we'll be if/when we have legitimate starting PF on this team. Both Evans and Young do not match up well against the Magic. Lewis isn't a PF but we still struggle against him in the lineup. I'd love to have a low post threat to exploit him defensively.

Sixers getting a big piece of humble pie tonight, I knew they were due for a letdown sooner or later...hopefully they get their ish back together tomorrow against the Nets.

This one had ugly all over it.. way before the game started. Emotional win on Wednesday had to be followed by ugly loss. As much as they have not looked like one recently, we have to remember this is a young team.

Even worse than the loss is the fact that Washington is going to win their game and Toronto is leading Cleveland in a tight game...

I'm going to have myself gone mad following the standings in the next couple of weeks!

This is the game where a guy like Josh Smith could really help us out. We don't have a PF athletic enough to keep up with Rashard or Hedu. Smith would give us that PF with the length to disrupt these guys and put Thaddeus where he belongs at SF.

On another note, great effort by Shav. He's making a good case for playing time, even if his play was only against the Magic's bench players. Love the hustle. Maybe use Jason Smith as our backup 5 with Shav at the 4.

Lebron took over the game in the 4th vs. Toronto and the Cavs won, with that and a Washington win, Washington is now in the 5th spot and Toronto in the 6th.

Philly may be able to pass Toronto for 6th because they have a few tough games coming up, then again so does Philly.

New Jersey lost to Denver putting them in 9th place. Alot of their starters played late into the 4th though and alot of the Sixers starters played very little, that may be a factor tomorrow night.

how can you let one of the best 3 points teams in the league to shoot wide open 3's time after time
i dont get it
its better to let Howard go one on one in the post
dont come with the help
bad game for the team and for the coach
and btw , Sam is just stupid , plain stupid
i prefer to kill myself then watching defend the pick and roll
