We need this win also, we could potentially be second in the West tomorrow if the Hornets lose and we win.

Hopefully we can contain Amare and Shaq somewhat... they're going to expose how undersized we are.

Maybe McGrady will explode on them like he did last season - with that weak Suns perimeter D someone in our backcourt** is going to have a big game.

Use Deke on Shaq tomorrow night. This game is huge as the Rockets could go from 3rd to 6th in the confernce. The Rockets need to figure out who's the best matchup for them in the playoffs. I know a title is pretty unlikely, but I'd like to advance this year so we have something to look forward to next season.

Shaq's so slow these days that Deke/Hayes/Scola should be able to contain him fairly well. Scola's going to have the most trouble with him it seems like, but should be able to exploit his quickness and profound flopping ability against Shaqas's quicksand-like elbowfication.

Win this and we salvage our road trip. The GS win was great...this one would be just great if not better. Shaq of course is a problem without Yao and we gotta rebound better. Amare will probably destroy us but we can't foul him. Alston at the very least tonight must show up defensively on Nash and McGrady needs to carry us like he did against the Warriors for 3 quarters. A winnable game...but like the GS game we absolutely must give ourselves a chance to win by playing smart and doing what we have to do which is take care of ball and rebound.

With Bell not playing I like our cyhances more , one less shooyter for them and he is their best defender.
Still on a back 2 back after a really tough game I think we gonna lose but the keys to a win are.
Run a lot of T-Mac , Deke pick n Rolls , Shaq doesn't have a chance againt T-Mac.
Make Shaq earn every basket , send him to the line no easy points.
Play defense .
T-Mac attack the rim.
In the past I wold say make NAash a passer don't let him get his teamates comfortable but here don't let Nash score much , thye don't have a lot of good shooters.
Make shots.

Im not worried about the 1-2-3 and doing much damage, but PF is going to be a tough spot to handle. Amare is just way to quick and explosive on the offensive end for either Scola or Landry to handle. But on the other end Amare isn't known to be the defender, we can take advantage with Landry, maybe Scola. Deke and Shaq will cancel out, unless Shaq wants to attack.

Totally. As great as Stat is he is a sub-par defender. He'll get his points but throw the two-headed monster at him and I think it'll frustrate him a little. Scola is good at that. :)

Shaq is the x-factor to me. He usually plays inspired against us but that's usually because we have Yao. Regardless, we are going to have to do what teams did to us with Ming. PUSH THE BALL. Their transition d will almost always be lacking one defender in Shaq. I expect Rafer to get some easy layups if he's going to contribute to a victory.

Nash is explosive but he isn't hard to contain, Im more worried about Amare, hes going to have a 30pt night.

he is having about 30 pts in every game. i mean if he do that, it would not be a suprising thing.

But im afraid of matchup between nash and alston . unfortunately Nash will own him .
