Bill Cowher said something to the extent that 'it's not the destination, it's the journey' after the Steelers won the Super Bowl...and I think I'm in that school of thought as well. I would prefer to watch and 'connect' with this team as it grows, and ultimately hope they end up with a championship than do a quick purchase like the Celtics and have a 2-3 year run. I still get goosebumps watching some of Doc's highlights, and I still vividly remember that punch in the gut feeling I got when the Sixers traded Malone and Daugherty for table scraps...those are true emotions in life that nobody can escape. The Sixers have given me more heartbreak than cheers over the years, but this team is fun to watch, and for the first time in probably more than two decades, they seem to be heading in the right direction. In the next few months, we'll see how much they have grown by their performance in the playoffs, and then in the offseason, we'll have another layer of interest added by their roster moves. This is fun...and I actually don't think they are going to screw this up.

The Guilty Party wrote:I've been on (still am) the Darrell Arthur bandwagon all season... that said, I EASILY take Anthony Randolph over Arthur if both are the board. Arthur is going to be a solid PF in the NBA but probably more of a role player type (see: Drew Gooden without the crazy beard or patch of hair).

Anthony Randolph is a higher risk but has a chance to develop into an All-Star caliber PF. At this point, I'd take the risk.

bingo. if you have a chance to land anthony randolph that late in the draft you DO NOT hesitate
