Irony of Larry Harris Departure, Followed By Ticket Renewal
The departure of Larry Harris was so well timed. Harris "asked" if he would be offered another contract or not.
The day after this is announced, what shows up in my mailbox but the season ticket renewal invoice for 2008-09.
There was not a word, photo or mention of Larry Harris anywhere in the piece. Not anywhere in the slick folder. Not in any of the letters or other correspondence.
Amazingly, there was not any mention of Larry Krystkowiak either. Hmmmnn.

I can better that. Since i stopped going to every game I decided to exchange 4 of my unused tickets for next weeks game against the magic. I only pay $10 4 my season tickets per game. So im expecting 4 upper level $10 tickets in exchange. The day larry gets fired I get 4 courtside club tickets instead and my renewal invoice.

Good catch Old Skool.......
But I'd have to say, the deal they are offering is compelling. For my half-season package, they've offered to take 25% off the price I paid last season. But you have to pull the trigger by April 14th. I might do it based on that 25% off....If Kohl hires Donny Walsh in the next two weeks, it would be a done deal for me.
I truly think the Bucks front office that handles the ticket promotions, in-game entertainment and fan experience is damn good. I feel sorry that this group has to work so hard to overcome the incompetence of Kohl, Walter, etc. in putting a real team on the floor.

I don't think that what you stated is correct. I am a half season holder and I don't see anything about a 25% discount in my letter. Perhaps it's because we have different seating/pricing plans, but still, that seems wrong.

Look at the invoice section. It notes that the Bucks will make the first quarterly installment payment on the seats and deducts 25%. But you have to pull the trigger by April 14th.

Not on mine it doesn't. Again, maybe we have different price levels for our tickets so maybe there are different deals for the different pricing levels, but the Bucks are definitely not going to make that first 25% payment for my account.
I have a half season package in the dark blue pricing area shown here:
http://www.nba.com/bucks/tickets/arena_001025.html
My 2 seats are priced at $ 958.00, less the 5% discount of $ 47.90, for a net amount due of $ 910.10. That is the same as what I paid last year.
From there, my invoice adds the $ 1 per seat per game BC facility fee that the Bucks picked up for the 2007-2008 season. That amount of $ 42.00, plus the $ 910.10 from above, produces a total balance due of $ 952.10.
My invoice states that 25% is due by April 14, 2008. $ 238.03 is the amount due by that date. From there, I can choose to have 15% of the total balance due paid on May 15th, June 15th, July 15th, August 15th and September 15th, or I can choose to just pay the remaining 75% off on August 15th.

I wonder if I am going to get offered the same price on my tickets for next year. They had that buy one get one free deal last year, and I paid about what Kezbach paid for corner lowers.

ok, now I (finally) get it. It is only for the $ 56 tickets.

For season-ticket holders with $56 lower-level packages, the Bucks are offering 25% off if they renew before April 14. Also, the majority of other season-ticket holders will get a 5% discount if they renew before April 14.

Per seat. You paid about $ 950 per seat, correct? I paid $ 950 total for 2 seats.
