Texas + Cali would own the league, to much talent that can lead teams when they have to.

Do you speak of Paul, James and Howard or Bryant, McGrady and Duncan?

Texas & Cali Team has a bunch of Championship-caliber proven players. The rest of the NBA Team has a bunch of unproven players with lots of talents. I go with the veterans in 5.

I have to agree Team "NBA" has only 1 championship. While Team Tali has a dozen or so.
Team Tali > Team "NBA"

"Rest of the NBA" looks better on paper, but in a 7 game series, there's no way I'd bet against a team with Kobe and Duncan.

Taxes/Cali

Almost the whole tarting lineup are playoff experienced.

BD - Took a whole series against a 67 win team on his shoulders and won it for them.

Kobe - 3 championships

Tracy Mcgrady - .....

Duncan - do i have to say anything?

Ming - Well who can stop Yao?

If this is a playoff series, then Baron/Cali+TX would dominate. If not, then the rest of the NBA would likely win since BD and Timmy don't try much in the season.

Cliff Levingston's teams/rotations would be:

TX + CA

PG. Baron Davis, Tony Parker
SG. Kobe Bryant, Manu Ginobili
SF. Tracy McGrady, Ron Artest
PF. Dirk Nowitzki, Pau Gasol
C. Tim Duncan, Yao Ming

Rest of the NBA

PG. Chris Paul, Chauncey Billups
SG. Dwayne Wade, Allen Iverson
SF. LeBron James, Carmelo Anthony
PF. Kevin Garnett, Al Jefferson
C. Dwight Howard, Amare Stoudemire

As to who would win, it'd probably be TX + CA simply because they have more/better shooters and Tim Duncan.

I would take Pierce over melo, mostly because i think defense is pretty important.

Either one would be fine.
