Tell me everything I need to know about Ira Newble.

Can he shoot the three? I imagine him being this teams Rick Fox, am I off base? Is he scrappy at least? Will he choke a b?

He was responsible for Kobe being injured like two seasons in a row

I could never say that about KG. Even though he is a great player. In some way even in his prime he is Joakim Noah with a jump shot and a little better post game. Outside of that they have the exact same skill set.

He's a good defender, kind of a dummy though iirc. Couldn't make it on the Cavs.

Basically he sucks.

He's a decent defender. Bulky size who can body up players.

Decent 3pt shooter.

All in all, Ariza>Noob.

He was out of a job for a reason.

Why are you sorry? To be a Laker fan right now is optimal. You have the best player on the planet on your team, your team is currently on top the greatest conference in the history of basketball, when healthy a favorite to be the NBA champions, the team is relatively young and the core can stay together for 5 or so years to accumulate multiple championships, and did I mention you have the best player on the planet on your team.
To be honest I would feel sorry for Cleveland Cavaliers fans, who keep trying to convince themselves that they have a shot of repeating as eastern conference champions.

I think its all of the above , but back to the O.P .

He is a good defender and he as a pretty decent B.Ball I.Q , he hustles .

I think he is a good addition for what we got him for 10 days until we resign him again , and it does look that way .

Why are you guys so sensitive?

Anyway Newble is a good, physical defender and he can shoot the 3's. Don't expect anything else.

Ira Newble is one of those players you watch and say to yourself, "I could probably beat that guy one on one if I really wanted to".

I felt his defense was overrated in Cleveland, but its solid.

He has no handle at all, a streaky shot that is usually off (he will air ball and brick a lot of shots).

He's a pretty good leaper, but he's not fluid or graceful at all.

My best memory of him as a Cavs fan was when he came in and shut down Ruben Patterson last year against the Bucks and helped us get a win. The Cavs were getting abused by Patterson, but Newble came in off the bench and locked him down late in the 4th quarter, and LeBron carried the offensive load in a Cavs come from behind victory.

But hey what RealGm be without you taking a shot at the Lakers in every thread instead of offering something.

I'm not a Lakers fan...

...and I say Ira Newble is the missing piece the Lakers needed to really compete, heck, to become dynasty!
