Right now Westbrook is a short SG, he has yet to prove he can be a PG aqt the next level. If he comes back next year and proves that, he may be a top 5 pick. All that stuff you said sounds exactly like what people said about Chris Taft when he declared. Good defender and athletic, he is a lock for the first round. But, magically, he didn't go in the first round.
Problem for him is that UCLA has Jrue Holiday and another hella good guard coming in next year IIRC. To be honest I hope the Kings pick the guy if he declares. And Taft never did anything because he f'ed up his back really badly IIRC.
