Do we root for the Suns now?

I'm thinking ahead, but if we get the 8th seed, wouldn't we rather face the Suns and not LA?

I don't think the Suns will get 1st seed or even 2nd.

wtf! I just looked at their schedule and they can easily lose 5 of their next 6.

Yes, if they do get 1st or 2nd seed, they will definitely have to earn it.

I could see Utah with their remaining cupcake schedule getting 2nd seed.

Utah's next 6 games are easy, but after that it gets signicantly harder for them.

Fri, Apr 4 San Antonio
Tue, Apr 8 @ New Orleans
Thu, Apr 10 @ Dallas
Sat, Apr 12 Denver
Mon, Apr 14 Houston
Wed, Apr 16 @ San Antonio

Conceivably, the knockout blow could be dealt to Utah before those last two games.

Why does it matter to you? You aren't watching any more games for the rest of the season. You will only watch the highlights on Sportscenter, remember?

Obviously I'd prefer the Suns to the Lakers... but the Suns could be just as dangerous imo... they're gelling, Shaq has gotten more aggressive, they could slow it down, Shaq definitely improved their defensive rebounding immensely and they could execute fast break more effectively. They can slow it down or push the tempo now with balance.

What difference does it make who we play in the playoffs, if this team says they're the best and can beat anyone, they need to prove it, and not "hope" we get the Suns...

yeah I agree, this timidation about who to face and 50 games might not make the playoffs is complete garbage.....the only thing this team needs to think about is win the damn game

they've beat the Suns before and they've also beat unbeatable teams.....several times

the only thing I would be afraid of is letting any of these teams play at 100% effectiveness, the cure for that is defense defense *'n defense

I dont care because i feel that if u are good enough to win it all, then u shouldnt be scared or anything of who ur gonna face in what round and if u can sneak in................anybody in the west 1-9 can win the west, i dont matter, now in the east......only detroit boston and orlando can win and all the other teams are thinking of who theyd prefer to play in what round........so it dont matter who we play to me bc like i said, any west team can go 1-9 to the finals.

That's what I said last year but this year the playoffs will be so competitive that I'll take the right matchup if it means someone else could take out a team the Nugs don't matchup with well (like the Lakers).

But first, they gotta get into the playoffs.
