Like who do you have in mind ? I don't think there is anyone available that is better than what they have. At least, not enough better to deal with having someone that hasn't been playing with the Sixers and would take time to work into the offense. No, I think the best is to just ride with what they have and wait until the off-season to deal with adding players.

you're probably right, I think just think kyle could do wonders in place of carney's useless minutes. Hindsight is 20/20. I still like the kyle move... just wish it could have waited.

you know.. i'd much rather the hawks get into the playoffs than the nets.. merely because i feel bad for hawks fans.. think about being dedicated to a team and having owners who dont give a crap.

Absolutely ... I wish they still had Kyle Korver also ... But at the same time, they really are playing better since he was traded. I don't know why and would hesitate to assume they are better without him ... but they are getting better results. Maybe they are faster without him ... Maybe they are better defensively without him ... Maybe they rely less on the 3pt shot without him ... Maybe ... Maybe ... who knows .... not me !

Hawks fans and dedicated shouldn't be in the same sentence.

Hell, anything with Atlanta sports shouldn't. That is a joke of a sports town.

After the Celtic's game on Monday, the schedule starts to get a little easier. We don't have many real easy opponents left, but we don't have many more very very difficult games. We only have two games left vs. stud teams and they are both at home vs teams we recently beat on the road: Detroit and Phoenix.

i live in atl to roletagg. they are a very dedicated bunch. same w/ the braves fans (true ones, i know they are the kings of bandwagon fants)

I don't like to bash players after games but the performance of Green was ridiculous. He struggled alltogether with his shot and still managed to throw the ball 17x in 21 minutes. He cannot be serious. Yes, he normally makes most of those shots but if he recognizes that he ain't hitting nothing, then he should look for his teammates.

Otherwise, I am absolutely dissatisfied how we played. I am hopeful that we are solely in a bad shooting stretch. Otherwise, the remaining games might end pretty ugly and disappointing for us.

Don't hate the player, hate the coach who ALLOWED the player to shoot 17 shots. LW for starting 2 guard spot anyone? It gives us 2 ball handlers and (somewhat) playmakers on the floor in Miller/Will.

I like Green in the starting lineup. He does hit his shot a majority of the time, and is a pretty good defender. Lately, he has gone back to his bad shooting habits from the first two months of the season where he keeps gunning, even if he isn't close, but the coach is partly to blame for allowing that.

All in all he is allowed to have a few bad games, hopefully he will work himself out of his slump can cut down on the bad shots.

Well, while it makes sense to stop shooting if you ... ain't hitting nothing ...

Shooters do not know that they ain't ! All they know is that they missed that last one and they are determined not to miss this one.

However, what I would like to see, at least, is for him to start driving to the basket more when he has missed a few shots. That is how most good players correct their shooting woes. If they make a couple of layups (dunks) that gives them the right to attempt another long range shot. At least that is the unwritten rule for basketball players.

Myself ... I would cut down on the hating ....

I would allow players to have a bad game here and there without it ...

Willie Green knows he shot 3-17 and so does Maurice Cheeks. Neither of them knew he was going to have that bad of a shooting night until it was over. Hey, it happens ... get over it.

Please, don't justify the terrible performance of Green. He should have recognized that his shot was off. If he was not aware of it, then I am seriously questioning his basketball iq.

Yea green was god awful. He was missing wide open jumpers im like WOW. If your shot that off drive to the dam basket!!! I was happy to see lou get in...what a relief! Green would of shot us out the game and into a loss.
