Shooters do not know that they ain't ! All they know is that they missed that last one and they are determined not to miss this one.
However, what I would like to see, at least, is for him to start driving to the basket more when he has missed a few shots. That is how most good players correct their shooting woes. If they make a couple of layups (dunks) that gives them the right to attempt another long range shot. At least that is the unwritten rule for basketball players.
