If Mike Conley turns into Kenny Anderson I think his career would be a disappointment.

I like it when Martin is aggressive but the last few games i think maybe he has been too much so. Things aren't there, he's forcing it over and over into the D. Good news is, he gets to the line. Not sure what to think!

i know, apparently Spencer wanted to meet her, but she refused, he became angry and upset and said its her lost

check out the interview: http://www.khtk.com/

she's probably democrat-Spencer Hawes

yeah, what i learn from the story is He's still learning and growing. He's 20 years old, and before he to develop as basketball player, he has to develop as person.

I think I have just heard the most idiotic thing ever from the Memphis feed on league pass:

"Brad Miller is known as a defensive stopper"

WTF?!?!? When?
This space needs to be filled with a new sig...but I'm too lazy to make one.

Garcia made some bone headed mistakes i.e. backcourt violation, offense foul, and fouling a 3 point shooter... Regardless, giving up 40 points in the 1st quarter is unacceptable...That team is Gasol-less...

I said this since the draft:

Hawes > Bynum

And I'm sticking to it.

Sure. Someone need to re-injure Miller's elbow, Artest's elbows, and Beno's back. So yeah, you will see more of it.... :D

Great game by Spencer, aggressive and mixed it up nicely, very impressive and fun to see. Liked him at times defensively, as well. Whenever he's played, his mind-set and demeanor has been good. He's not really timitive.

Liked some things from Shelden - however, he still should of got some more minutes.

Douby got a rhythm going and got decent minutes

Garcia, overall, really played well

Kevin was active, despite struggling from the field some, and got going more from there eventually. Glad to see that. Had a strong game, as a whole.

Spencer and Shelden looked pretty good. Mikki had good stats but fumbled the ball too much and was a defensive liability.

Spencer really impressed me. He was hitting Js, scoring on Darko in the post, just owning out there. Also made an impact defensively and on the boards.

Kevin did good even though he only shot 33%. He got a bunch of FTs and I'm happy when he does that even if he shots terribly.

Garcia was pretty mixed as far as good and bad things. I counted 1 time where he left his guy open 3 times in a row and got scored on all 3 times, than at the end he fouls the 3 point shooter AFTER he already shoots the ball(terrible mistake), just terrible mistakes. Really hurt us IMO.

Not having a PG hurt as well.

Yeah, I wasn't really sure about the kind of person/player Spencer is until I saw the guy over at sactownroyalty.com's review from a clipper game, in which he was right behind the bench I believe. He said Spencer was talking junk throughout the whole game, cussing at guys, and just seemed to have an edge about him. That's pretty impressive for a 19 year old to already have that toughness about him.

After hearing that and hearing Spencer say he patterns his game after Tim Duncan I was pretty much sold.

Great job in your first start Spencer!
