My take on the refs, we got a lot of favorable calls in the first half. And a few in the second half.

I think overall we came away with more calls then the Hornets. There were a lot of key calls that typically wouldn't get called but did. KG got that defensive call after pushing Chandler, Pierce got that call to give us a critical 3 point play in the end. Paul got called for his 4th I believe when it looked like he just let Rondo go by but Rondo triped himself going up. Honestly I think we got many big calls that we wouldn't normally get let alone on the road.

[btw does anyone else really like their symbol? I've always like it for some reason]

THis was a game lost by the bench.

2nd quarter: We lead by 13, Rondo and KG leave and we're up by only 2 within 4-5 minutes.

4th quarter: We lead by 15 Rondo and KG leave and we're up by only 1 within 4-5 minutes. Momentum lost. End of story.

Thats what i felt turned the game around.

The bench had nothing going for them and NO took advantage. But all of the blame doesnt go on the Celtics bench David West / Pargo / Wells were BIG for them in the 4th!

But that aside this had to be the most Impressive performance by Rondo this year he actually Abused Chris Paul in the first 3 Quarters but at the end Chris Paul showed why he's the Leading MVP Candidate (Atleast IMO)

our execution sucked, too. fourth quarter execution has been our achilles heel all season long.

Typical bandwagon fan comment. I love how ignorant dunces wanna bash the team and let the refs off the hook. If you want, I can teach you a thing or two about the obvious bias the NBA has had against Boston since Bird retired. Then again, how about you just watch me on the Celtics DVD coming out in the fall to see what a real Celtics fan looks like BITCH!!!

what the hell kind of attitude is that? we used to have a sense of community on this board. if this is what you are like i wish you hadnt joined.

The refs did not screw the celtics. Ray Allen and the rest of the team made a few bad turnovers. Rondo took some floaters (stop taking those Rajon!) The defense couldn't stop West or Pargo. The celtics lost that game.

This loss made me sick. I don't mind losing to the Hornets because they're a great team, but to be up 15 points and have the game all but clinched untill midway in the fourth and then lose, just awful! How could we not close the game out?

Anyways, good luck to the Hornets, I have them as one of my favorites to make the finals.

Isn't it at least somewhat comforting to know that it took 20 turnovers and the Hornets capitalizing on basically every single on of them to beat the Celtics?

Always look on the bright side of life!

I just finished watching the game.

The Hornets are good and they should feel especially good considering that Paul played so few minutes.

But I have to say, there wasn't a moment in the game where I thought they were better. We sucked in the 4th and they didn't, so they won. Hats off to them.

We've gotten lucky a few times, this time we were flat in the 4th and the other team came to play.

But I'd take a Finals against NO any day. We're the better team.

Looking back to this road trip, I think we lost to the right team and won against the right teams. Translation: winning against the Spurs, Rockets and Mavs is making me happier than losing against the Hornets makes me mad.

DOC should have let baby play. it's his hometown and he probably would have been just as effective as perk. Perk in person looks slow and fouls everytime his man gets the ball.
