^Of course he's a harder worker than Nene, if Nene can be average at hard work he'd be a 10x player he is now.

Barkley was a 6'4.5", Rodman was 6'6"

He's undersized but he boxes out EVERY possession.

But having said that, obviously I had no idea he was traded for J.R.

God damn what a curse

well i'm not sure it matter if j.r. and leon were traded for each other, or however it worked out.

leon powe, though undersized is a big man. seems to me, the biggest problem with this team is perimeter defense. don't know how the powester could help you on that one.

Leon Powe is without question better than soft ass Nene. Nene falls into the "BUST" category while Powe falls into the "key bench contributor on a contender" title.

Lol and im sure your coming from a completely unbiased opinion right?
:-?
Powe better than Nene that is really funny, I can't wait to see Nene back and prove all the doubters wrong once more.

Seeing him play kills me... he's so good and has a lot of upside. A good character, works and plays hard, bangs inside, plays defense, and is only in his second year. Probably better than Nene at the same point of their careers and Nene was starting. Powe is backing up a HOF player.

who would you have rather had though, Powe or J.R. Smith???

^Well like I said, I had no idea he was traded for J.R. Obviously I'd rather have J.R. but Powe is a very solid big man. I don't think he'll be an all star but he'll have a very solid career... sort of a better offensive version of PJ Brown.

add him to the list of Nuggets' traded draft picks that turn out to be studs along with Jameer Nelson, Jarret Jack.

First of all, I would hardly call Nelson, Jack, or Powe a stud.

Second of all, you need to understand how these trades work. You can't trade a pick on draft day, but you can trade the rights to player you just drafted. To get around this, teams will have a deal in place prior to the draft selection. The trade will be dependent on team A drafting the player that team B wants.

So we drafted Nelson because Orlando wanted him. We drafted Jack because thats who Portland wanted, and we drafted Powe because thats who Boston wanted.

Had the Nuggets not traded those picks, there is a very high likelyhood that we would have drafted different players. Particulalry when you talk about Nelson and Jack because we already had our PG rotation of Miller and Boykins.

Also, I believe we selected Klieza with the pick we got in the Jack deal. I think thats a good deal for the Nuggets. And, as was mentioned, we turned the pick we got for Powe into JR, another good trade for the Nuggets.
