Well, we lost the first 3 games already. If we can come out and get an early lead you never know what might happen. Only problem is that that Celtics just lost to New Orleans last night. They'll be hungry to get back to their dominating ways.

Why oh why, do we have to face teams when they're looking to send a message. We lost to Orlando, after they were defeated by the Wizards...then they go and lose to the Hawks... Even though we've been winning a lot of games against elite teams, as crazy as it may sound, if certain results went the other way, I think we might have been able to have had an even better record.

We have won lately many close games. I think we are lucky enough that we are where we are.

My predictions:

Mon 24 @ Boston L
Wed 26 vs Chicago W
Fri 28 vs Phoenix L
Sun 30 @ Cleveland W
Tue 01 @ New Jersey W
Fri 04 @ Atlanta L
Sat 05 vs Atlanta L
Wed 09 vs Detroit L
Fri 11 vs Indiana W
Sat 12 @ Washington L
Mon 14 vs Cleveland W
Wed 16 @ Charlotte W

I am sold with that type of finish. It would not assure us a better seeding but at least we finish the season above 40 wins..

????What the hell man? Who burst your bubble? You have us finishing 6-6 when we when 15-5 since the all star break?? 3 losses in a row? (When was the last time we lost 3 in a row? Let alone 2 in a row?) And two to Atlanta??? We've defeated quite a few elite teams in this run, you don't see us being able to beat Washington/Atlanta, but see us beating Cleveland twice?

Atlanta is now on a roll. That's not going to be a piece of cake playing against them, especially since they acquired Bibby who can lighten it up from outside. I also think they might be then in a position where they have legit chances to claim the seventh seed. They might be more motivated than us. The games against Washington had been pretty tough so far. We came up with 2 wins but none of those were clear-cut. I also expect that Arenas will be back for them and it's a home game for them... I am comfortable that we sweep Cleveland. It's pretty much a one-man-show and I think we are better suited to that kind of game. Moreover, they do not have any real three point shooting threats and no inside play. Hughes is not playing there either and we were used that he plays good games against Phila.

You know, I just don't like how the Sixers have played lately. Where is the press court defense? Does Thad find his shooting touch back? He has also cooled of a little bit and you might argue that he was the difference maker in that stretch. He won't be that if he cannot contribute a little bit in the offense.

I don't like Maurice Cheeks as a coach either but it's something we'll have to live with.

Wed 26 vs Chicago - W
Fri 28 vs Phoenix - W

As long as we get the 7th or 6th seed, I'm happy (Boston is just unfair).
