He's skipping ever more trips, especially the longer ones.
The reason isn't his own health so much as a need to take care of the cancer-stricken Redhead In Needham (as she still is called, although at this point there has to be doubt as to both the quantity and color of her hair).

Heinsohn is everybody's beloved uncle. He has more years of serious Celtic service than anybody else in history, INCLUDING RED AUERBACH. He was directly and heavily involved in the first 13 championships, around for the other three, and around for the lean decades since. He is a smart, decent, and creative man.
Occasional screwy analysis or even bigoted comments notwithstanding, he's one heck of a guy.

Obviously I love Tommy (the sig kinda gives it away). The whole "he's a massive homer, what a jerk" thing really pisses me off. He's the Celtics announcer, he's been associated with the franchise for god knows how many years and he's a passionate guy. Do people expect him to have no bias? He's funny, and it's not like he's ever really being malicious with his comments.
