LOL.
His FT shooting was atrocious, but he did a great job keeping the team in contention. Our guys took some bad shots towards the end, but we didn't do a good job containing the Suns trio down the stretch....

Oh well, we're falling down the standings pretty hard. Where are we now, 6th?

I think we might be tied.

But yeah the FTs are as bad as they come, when Shaq hits two in a row, it just makes you put your chin to your chest. The big men killed us inside, it was a great game by them both, we couldn't do anything about it. And Landry has a lot to learn, he kept going for a dunk, but he needs to learn how to pump fake, Scola knows a thing or two about that ;) because there were two times where he got swatted by Amare,

I might give up publically defending Rafer immediately prior to a game. Doesn't seem to work well. :banghead:

Before tipoff i said we had to get Amare in foul trouble or he'd kill us, and ... the latter happened. With our offense in a high state of inconsistency the post has to be our friend. Whether it be T-Mac, Battier or Scola, one of those guys has to be on the block at least every other possession. With their height, one of T-Mac or Battier will have a shorter guy on him, and Scola I believe can do good stuff down there if he just gets the touches.

Frustrating loss, but i did like how they managed to get it close against a good team on the road on the 2nd of a back to back after that @#$% 1st qtr.

No, no crush. Sorry to disappoint.

Then you shouldn't talk like a prophet.

Yeah, cause it bugged me (like all overly -ve predictions put as a fait accompli do), and cause your 'just like I expected' line reminded me of it.

Watching that super grainy link gave me a head ache, I had to turn it off. But Amare made freaking 20 of 20 free throws. That was the **** difference of the game. They also played only 7 guys in their rotation and still beat us. In this game we lost mainly because of our free throw shooting.

7 points to the garbage in ft's and stoudegire 20 of 20, what the hell, it was boring to see, atleast we didn't get a blowout.

Thats the difference between GSW and the Suns. Suns have an inside presence with Amare and O'neal. While the Warriors just run with the smallest lineup possible, lol.

Amare and Shaq pulled a "Yao Ming" on us. If you guys don't get it than you just don't. Amare was 20 of 20 from charity stripe accounting for 20 of his 38. That's more than half. That's what you call a typical "Yao Ming" performance.

Terrible game defensively by the Rockets, although they were on a back-to-back. Obviously we couldn't defend the big men inside and that was probably the main reason down the stretch, I still give them effort for coming back.

This once agains shows what I brought up after the Bobcat game about people wrongly saying that Deke is a better defender than Yao. He may be a better help defender(I'm not so sure about that either although he definitely is a better shot blocker) however at this stage of his career, Yao is a way better one on one defender. Deke is getting straight manhanled down low by bigs with a post game. Teams are feasting on our interior like never before now that Yao is not in there to clog up the lane. Yao may not block as many shots but he makes people take tougher shots.

Another thing to note is Yao isn't that far behind Deke in shotblocking, he did average about 2 a game with some 4+blocks recorded a couple times.

LOL posts like this make me laugh. Scola and Landry aren't good enough offensive players to take advantage of a player like Amare. Lets just say Amare will probably score more points on them than they do on him.

What does Amare scoring more Scola and Landry have to do with his atrocious defense? It was hilarious how battier of all people took Amare to school on 2 or 3 possessions POSTING HIM UP!
