Lamar has been playing the best ball in his Laker career. I do not know if I would want to trade Boozer for Lamar right now. The problem is we have Gasol and Bynum that play in the key. And if add Boozer that would be the 3rd person, it will just make it too clogged up.

If Lamar plays the same way he was been playing he should get about 10 to 12 mil per season. I think after Kobe he was part of the reason why we won so many games, yes I did put him a head of Gasol for this past 20 games.

So Lamar we like you to stay

Boozer?

Artest will recalibrate himself for a chance to win a championship.

Nocioni actually takes up 23% of the team's minutes at the PF spot.

because he said he is willing to take a pay cut for a chance to win a ship. sure he is wild, but he is also older now, he will have Phil and Kobe, and he will be in a place where he actually wants to be. not teams, but cities for Ron Artest to live in- Indiana/sacramento Vs LA come on now.
+ Kobe would finally have his Rodman, a protector and enforcer. those cheap ass fouls that Kobe seems to be in the wrong end of would go away because Artest would regulate the other teams.

Lamar is worth more than $10 million. It's not his fault we have a salary of Kobe, Gasol and Bynum (getting ready for major offer.)

I think it's unfair to decide that Odom is the guy who'll need to take a paycut so WE can win a championship. Imagine your boss saying of all the employees we've decided YOU should take a 40% paycut so our office will do better. Why can't Kobe, Bynum or Gasol take a paycut so we can keep Odom? I'm not saying he should get $15 million/year but he should get more than $10 million.

I've been lobbying Odom trades all year (for AK47, for Artest, for Marion, etc.) but right now he's playing so well. We take him for granted.

Im not saying I would be for the trade.

I was just saying that it isnt fall-out-of-your-chair crazy to think of playing Nocioni at PF.

boozer?
um, i'd actually wouldnt mind boozer imho
we wont get a 3pt shooter like lamar but lamar was never a consistent one
having 2 deep midrange shooters (boozer and gasol) on the court at the same time and a tough post player(bynum) inside would scare any team having to play us
we'd lose a mismatch that lamar created but boozer would gain us the inside d we've been lacking

farmar/fish
kobe/sasha
vladrad?/boozer
pau/boozer
bynum/pau

our team would be insanely tough down low
then again thats wishful thinking because jerry buss would go broke unless he sells out everynight at the staple center

for right now id say keep lamar, if asks too much then it was nice knowing him(most likely destination NYK)
artest is the most likely candidate kobe, phil and even fisher would keep him in line

I agree with you to some point. However, there is only one basketball to go around in the game. When you're talking about about Kobe, Gasol, Bynum, Boozer in the same lineup that is way too many great plalyers that need the ball in their hands to be affective.

The reason why I say we should not trade Lamar is because as you can see the team has no plays for him to be affective, and he gives you double double day in and day out.

Second, with Boozer our salary will be out of the roof and we won't have a chance to sign any decent vet players.

How is Boozer in the discussion? No way the Jazz let him go. Also he's due for a big contract we can't afford so forget about him.

If Lamar doesn't accept 8-9 mill a year(which he won't) I would definetly trade him. I doubt we can give him anymore then that(not too sure). Anyone know how much we can give him assuming Bynum gets 15-20 mill?

Nocioni has a +18.8 PER at PF, which is exactly the same as Lamar Odom.

Nocioni's opponent PER at PF is 15.5 whereas LO gives up +17.3 to his opponents at PF.
