Golden State @ the LA Lakers

Post#1 » by Sid the Squid » Sun Mar 23, 2008 4:31 am

Luckily the lakers are without Bynum and Gasol...So GS shrimp ball has a chance..

I'm looking for a big game from CJ Watson..That guy is a difference maker.

6:09 tipoff Sunday Night ..Staples

I'm hoping we run more of the offense through Pietrus..We need to expand his game..Same with Azubuike and CJ..The more the ball is in these guy's hands, the smoother the offense will run...

Without Bynum and Gasol Dubz should prevail on both nights.

The Warriors also lost to the Lakers 9 straight games and guess what happened in the 10th meeting? A streak is bound to end you can book that.

Well not exactly the way I wanted to post my first post, but I just have to let it out: the cockiness/arogance of Lakers fans bugs the hell out of me. I know he just wants to get to me...its working. God I hate the Lakers... and the stupid Memphis Grizzlies for giving the most hated team in the NBA their best player. :banghead:

On the other hand, I kind of am looking forward to a Warriors/Lakers first round matchup...yes I know we are outmatched and that the Lakers aren't the Mavericks...but just there mere CHANCE of being able to ELIMINATE the Lakers from the playoffs would be a dream come true.

Btw, I have kept up with these boards almost everyday for the last 3 years and thats how long it took me to post my first post...I am well familiar with all the common posters and their opinions, hopefully mine will be welcome here as well. Go Warriors! (I live in LA, but grew up in Hayward and have loved the Warriors/A's/Niners (raiders were still in LA when I was growing up) sinceI was 4. I HATE hearing it from my friends who are all diehard Laker fans. Lets end that streak tonight!

Dallas lost to San Antonio today and Denver is down by 8 to Toronto at the half.

A win tonight would be huge for us.

Lakers = NBA's best team that money can buy.

NY Knicks = worst team that money can buy.

Warriors = a good team and one of the best bangs for the buck.

Wouldn't it be something if we put them away tonight?
