Is something wrong with Grant Hill?

Post#1 » by Suns_Fever » Sun Mar 23, 2008 9:54 pm

It seemed like lately he hasnt been taking many shots as he used to. Last night he was like 1-4 fg with only 2 points. Maybe he is hurting or something like that.

Grant been playing damn good regardless of nagging discomforts. His timely steals and assists are priceless.

Somethin is wrong with Nash. I haven't noticed him take any hard fouls recently to give any clues, but somethin is buggin him.

Other than his ailing wrist, it seems like he and Nash have taken the brunt of having Shaq on the team offensively, in the fact that they don't seem to take anywhere near as many shots as when he wasn't here. (I'm not sure if that makes any sense. :-? )

I don't really mind as they are both of course doing other things to help us get the W.

for the record

hill is taking 2 less shots per game since the trade in 2 less minutes (one worry is that he is having his worst scoring month of the year) but he has stepped up his boards hugely since marion is gone. Also dont forget guys that hill is now being given a tough defensive cover every game, that used to go to marion which no doubt exerts alot of his energy

nash is attempting .8 less of a shot per game

^^^Cool. I didn't even check stats or anything since the trade to see if what I said was in fact fact. I just made my assumption off of watching the games.

Exactly!

There should never be a questioning of Hill's performance at any point this year. He has been the most consistent player on this team and never leaves you questioning if he was playing at 100% capacity.

We should nominate him for Governor when he retires.

i am so happy with having hill on this team. like others have said, he has left it all on the floor every night and never given any of us reason to get mad. his defense has been a real surprise, i would love to see the ball in his hands more than diaw and especially barbosa.
