Key Matchup:
Image
Who shows up? Good Nuggets that play defense and move the ball offensively, or lazy Nuggets that take games for granted?

Last Meeting: March 12th, 2008
108-86 Denver victory
Only one Memphis played scored over 12 points, and the team shot just 36% from the field.
Martin led Denver with 23 points on 9/11 shooting

Denver: 42-28
Rank 11th in offense and 7th in defense
Second night of a back to back, and the last game of a 5 game eastern road trip.
This will be Atkins first healthy return to Memphis after playing for them last season.

another MUST win, hopefully the warriors lose tonight. this game will put us 15 games above .500 !

i hope the melo shows up that showed up tonight... the melo who goes after the offensive boards and hustles for some of his points. big reason why we won the toronto game. iverson still hot despite his finger

go NUGGETS make us proud and be a 15 above .500 team by tomorrow night

Damn, now I am forced to watch a couple of extra Lakers games. What makes it worse is I am going to be pulling for them to win  in the next 2 games.

The timing of Dirk's injury couldn't be better.

Easy win, but the Nuggets can't get it in their head and play like its a pick-up game...Putting up points won't be hard in this one, so I'm thinking we'll win by 15+.

Definite must win. Dirk may somewhat help us, be we have to start helping ourselves with wins over these kind of teams. A dominant performance would be nice to see.

This is making the W Conf. standings just weird. Everyone's gonna end up with 26-30 losses.

seems like the nuggets finally got it NOT underestimating those losing record teams :)
"It's the most important game of our season - the next one," Iverson said. "We've got to have it. We're not going in there underestimating them. Whoever they put out on the court, we're just going to try to beat 'em, get out of there with a win and go back home."

-Rockymountainnews

Iverson about his finger lately:
"Is it feeling better? Man, no way," Iverson said. "It's something that I'm going to struggle with through the rest of the season. Every time I release, I get a little sting."

Iverson said Advil is the only thing he can take for the pain, but he does see one positive.

"The only good thing about it is, when I shoot now, I concentrate a lot more than I did before," he said.

-Rockymountainnews

RANDOM NOTES:

-We didn't needed the typical Iverson much to win the last game against the grizzlies (which was a blowout - Iverson had 8 pts and 8 assists) but desperately needed an 32pts/12ass/4stl Iverson to win 106-102 the game before.

-Camby averages 9,5ppg/14,5rpg/5,5bpg against the Grizzlies this season.

-Melo was injured in the first meeting against the grizzlies but put up good numbers (14pts and 13 rebs) in the second meeting.

-X-Factor: Kleiza
Seems to like the grizz' type of defense averaging 17ppg and 4,5 rpg.

DID YOU KNOW?
The nuggets played some Defense and held the grizz to 42/98 FG (42.9%) in the first game and 32/90 FG (35.6%) in the second meeting!

hello, here a grizz fan. Id like you to get that win. as you see, this season i dont mind lose one more game.

Mavs lost dirk. so, you have a chance to get them and also to get GSW. not making playoffs but being in 7th spot.

Good luck

The only results that I think are still in doubt for this game.

Will the Nuggets score over or under 160 points?
