With the way big men are paid I think Bogut will be looking for a 5YR either $50-$60M contract. Which may sound like overpaying, but he is on the verge of being an all-star center in the eastern conference.

We should pay him this summer, before he blows up next year and is going to demand even more.

Also, this franchise is ready to be put on Andrews shoulders, he's ready as a player to be a leader for this team.

Andrew Bogut was the National Player of the Year and led the NCAA in rebounding and double doubles

Brooke Lopez has a girls name and so does his sister brother.

The interesting piece of that story was Bogut's agent saying he wanted a new contract so Bogut could go the Olympics and not worry about injury.....he'd have his payday.

I'd offer him the Kaman contract. If he takes it...awesome. If not....then let's see how next season goes.

Seriously, I've never seen a pair of big dudes whine so much in my entire life.

I'm crossing my fingers for the 5 yr, 50 mil Kaman deal. I still believe that's more than reasonable at this point. Then if he elevates himself a couple levels by the end of his contract, we can talk max money.

I think it's pretty much guaranteed that the Bucks mess this up. They'll either offer him the max or give him an insulting low ball offer. That's just how we roll.

Bogut's way overrated on this board. Neither are great defensively. Neither of them will ever be great rebounders. Neither of them will ever have a great fg% for a big man. Lopez, however will hit free throws. Bogut is who he is and he's just average. He tries hard, hustles and says all the right things, but this being year 3 I don't see him getting much better. 13pts/9rb is not something you can build a team around. If Andrew Bogut is the best player on the Bucks, we'll never win. I hope I'm wrong and next year he averages 18/11 and ups his fg%.

I would be very excited with Kaman deal. Hopefully Max will be gone, and with Bogut's new contract it will give him the confidence to be the leader.

It's a proud franchise, so we'd like to get it back to be a winning franchise and have people be proud of wearing a Bucks jersey or a Bucks hat or whatever."

Love that quote.

what you dont know about Bogut in college was that Bogut was a great big man FT shooter he was a great mid range shooter the NBA is a different game and if Brook wants to be a NBA big man he has to adjust...he has to choose like everyone else does he want to be a big man that stands out and shoot or the one that commands the paint.....

Bogut has never been a great ft shooter. Not in college or NBA.

Brook Lopez is a product of his competition. He's a great college player but Bogut has more skills than Lopez.

Bogut does need to improve (and I think he will even more next season, I see 16/10/2+, even better if he can ever get that FT thing figured out), but what about Lopez says he'll be better than Bogut?

Lopez is my top guy on the bust board for this draft, along with Kevin Love.

Sadly that does seem like likely scenarios with the Bucks history of handling things.

Introducing our two max players...Bogut and Redd!!

Championship here we come.

Uhh Lopez plays in the Pac-10, Bogut played in the Mountain West. I would say Bogut is a product of his competition moreso than Lopez.
