People not worried about this loss should be.

We have sucked on the road since the trade regardless of the competition. The effort level has been horrible, our execution has been horrible, the team defense has been horrible.

The reality is that right now, we are a horrible road team and if that's not corrected before the playoffs we are gonna be in for a rude awakening.

Good playoff teams win on the road

Guys are you serious? I know it is fun to look at things as negatively as possible, but for just one second step back and look at this as unnegative (not a word I know) as you can..... We played 5 games in this week!! 5 FREAKING GAMES IN ONE WEEK!! Thats 5 games in 7 nights including games against Orlando, Detroit, and Toronto. That is well over 200 minutes of basketball for LeBron just this week. Im not sure that number is sinking in here. Some players in this league dont even play 200+ minutes in a month.

You add that all up to playing against a team that ALWAYS tears us up and has an uptempo style, along with the Cavs not being able to get into town until today due to bad weather and how is this loss near as bad as all of you on suicide watch are making it out to be?

Are you guys honestly forgetting last year? We had doom and gloom posts all over this board (myself included) after we lost to teams like he Knicks and Bobcats. What incentive do really have to win this game? They arent catching Orlando, and Toronto/Washington arent catching us. Sure they want to win, but this game was not make or break.

PLUS we were without our starting PF and our 6th man.

Is it bad habits to step things up only in the 4th? Probably so, but it sure as hell has worked for us all season long, and last year as well. Its a proven formula for LeBron, and it works.

Sorry for the rant, just the negativity around here is getting to me.

I know, B Mac.. But, the pathetic as Heat beat Milwaukee the other night...

LeBron and 4 lemons should be able to waltz into Milwaukee and win... The Bucks are a really poor organization and there should be no excuses as to why we lose to that franchise... That should be a super easy guarantee win...

For as good as we guard Detroit, we don't know how to guard Milwaukee.. Whether it's the Bogut slip screen, the Redd isolation Williams all together, we just have trouble guarding them... And we're like the only team that has that problem.. :-?

Oh I agree its a problem. Its been our weakness for a couple of years now. I dont mean to sound like I am confidant in this team as is, because frankly if they dont play better on the road we wont go anywhere, but to take this one game and make it such a huge deal to me doesnt make much sense all things considered.

the troubling thing about this loss is that everyone else can beat the bucks. They beat us feb 27th and again tonight, but only won 1 game between then and now - a win over seattle.

The other troubling thing is we're now 1-7 on the road since the trade. The one win was LeBron's 50 point game in NY. I know we're not healthy and I know it's the 5th game in 7 nights, but we're starting to run out of games to get the new team to gel before the payoffs. It looked like maybe we were starting to gel a bit the last two games, tonight was a big step backwards.

I'm more optimistic than LJ? What has become of this place?

I think it's less optimistic to look at this team because they just don't operate as efficiently down the stretch as they did last year. They make way too many bad decisions to be able to win a series playing tightly like they could easily last year.

I'm just concerned that with all of the injuries we've had to deal with that the team may not come together the way we need to in time for the playoffs. Gibson is still out, this is the second time Andy has flopped as a starter with Ben out.

I've been telling you guys for years that Andy is not a starter. He's generally great coming off the bench (although I think he's been crappy a whole lot this year).

Varejao hasn't been crappy a whole lot this year. AV is a big part of the reason why the Cavs are above .500 right now.

He's only been crappy since his recent return and as crappy as he's been Ben Wallace isn't a better option in my opinion. Ben Wallace is crappier.

10 more games to figure out who mixes with who and getting a playoff rotation set.

Thank God the playoffs are never back to back home/road affairs. It seems like the Cavs play more of those than anyone (does DAL ever play one?) and they always win the first and lose the second. Somebody look up what the Cavs record is with 2 days or more off between games--I bet it's in the top 5 in the league.
It's not whether you win or lose, it's how good you look playing the game
