I get the feeling Mo needs a coach he can relate to more. The fact that he really wants to be a leader, but seems to be a bit of an **** (if you believe the various reports that have been floating around here) is conflicting, and I can only think it's because he's frustrated. Maybe if someone came in and gave him some more guidance, set up some sort of leadership structure within the team it would help him in alot of ways.

I think that winning would solve alot of ills on this team.

I don't necessarily care that Mo disagreed with Bogut about the best way to improve the team. That shows me that we have a couple guys who care enough to think about the team's problems and possible solutions, and then that they care enough to speak up and throw themselves out there at a team meeting. Even if one of them or both of them are wrong about their ideas, I like that they atleast care. That way when the actual solution presents itself, they are likely to buy into it.

What I don't want is a guy to sit on his thumb in the corner. I don't want a nice guy who doesn't get upset when the team is complete crap. I don't want a guy who is satisfied with losing over and over again. I don't want a guy who just doesn't care. In sum, I don't want Mike Redd.

It would, the only problem with that though is things fall apart if you go through a rough patch. As far as the team meeting thing goes... I'm more concerned that Redd said absolutely nothing rather than what Mo said or what Bogut did etc. I guess that's what happens when you select your team leadership based on stats and "niceness".

Exactly.

With "his" team incinerating in front of him, Redd decides the best course of action is to do nothing. That's 91 million at work.

Chicken or the egg.

Does winning solve the ills? Or does solving the ills lead to winning?

We're a pretty dysfunctional team it seems.
