Ellis is a player benefitting from the type of run n gun system GS is using, IMO.

But, he's still one hell of a scorer, altogether.

I remember what you were saying at the climax of the baby bulls era..

What was I saying? Was it anything like complaining that a player on my team is underrated because people said he won't win an MVP and when at least half the people are predicting some ridiculously good statlines (including myself)?

I love how at the beginning of the thread a Warrior fan was saying how Monta was so underrated on these boards, and then the thread goes on to say he'll be Iverson or Wade with a better jumper, a combination of the two, will win an MVP while putting up Kobe type numbers, etc.

Yeah... but does it make it any less true. No. Common, you have people saying he is a MVP player, going to post better numbers than Kobe, have a better career than AI and etc.

Who cares about Roy, this thread isn't even about him.... and even at that, what have people said about him? Honestly.

He's the third option posting 20 ppg with Don Nelson as his coach. That's gotta be a first eh?

You seem to really dislike Roy. Is it because he was in the All Star game (and arguably the WC MVP of said game) while Baron didn't even make it? Or are you just trying to shift the conversation away from the fact that Monta is highly overrated?

But if you wanna compare them, yes, monta scores about 1 more basket per night. He doesn't play the same kind of defense. He doesn't lead the team. He doesn't have the same awards given by the league and its coaches. And he's not on a team that is going to end up being a legit title contender for the next several years.

But you're right. I'm just jealous of Monta
