Decide our PF target - NCAA tournament style
With the NCAA tournament going on, I thought it would be interesting to use that format to see who the fans think is the best PF target this offseason. I listed nearly all the PF

Very good idea. You obviously put some work into it, so good job.

There are no serious reports that any of the guys listed are available (well, except for someone like Randolph and a few others). As I said in the opening post, the assumption here is that everyone is available (except for the select elite guys who I didn't list). Since there's no way to know who will and who won't be available, I made the general assumption that everyone is. This is just about trying to determine who people think would be the best targets, even if they aren't rumored to be available right now.
As for my personal opinion on Odom, I could see him being one of the more likely guys to be available. With Gasol and Bynum set at PF/C, I could see the Lakers trying to move Odom for a more traditional SF.

The Guilty Party wrote:Props on bringing an original and interesting thread to the table. My suggestion would have been to have certain matchups posted for 2 days of voting so that everyone knows when to vote but whatever works, works for me.
I plan to add up the results of the first round matchups sometime on Wednesday night. That will have given people about 3 days to vote for the initial matchups. I will then set the 2nd rd matchup and we can start the voting again for about 2-3 days. I may need to create a new post for each round of matchups as it could get too clutered trying to list them in this thread.
Also, I thought about doing a separate poll for each matchup so that the results were added up as we go, but it would have taken a long time to vote on 32 matchups (unless I created 32 seperate posts which I don't think would have gone over too well).
