C's have to come out with their guns blazing. This team has surprised too many teams lately to be taken lightly.

Andre Miller continues to have an awesome season in anonymity.

Philly doesn't look too bad, but if the Celts match the Sixers' intensity, it shouldn't be too tough of a game.
Love that dirty water...

Thad Young is going to be a pain in the ass, but this should be a win.

They switch off between Evans and Young depending on the other team's frontline.

17 of 22.

I mentioned it in our game thread but I think you guys have the best team in the league right now. Our offense is on a nice roll since the all-star break but your defense was suffocating in that game in Philly recently.

Our 1983 team with Doc and Moses was on a mission that year because they hadn't won a title. I get the same feeling this year when I see KG,PP and Allen. They haven't won one yet and you can tell they are on a mission and hungry for it.

Good luck tonight.

I like the philly fans. Much better than the LA fans.

Philly's team isn't really made to beat us if we bring effort 48 minutes tonight... but at the same time I kinda want them to win just because they'll be ahead of TOR then putting TOR in 7th place and that just be funny.

I'd like to see PHIL or WAS in the 5th/6th spot. Either way I'll be rooting for WAS [I hope WAS faces ORL I think with Gilbert/Butler/Jamison/Haywood they can take that series in the first round]

If not I was to at least see PHIL face ORL, I don't think PHIL can take them but anything will be more fun then shoot a 3 Toronto against the CLE/ORL teams.

Philly is a good team and has surprised some opponents as of late. Both teams are playing well right now, but I think the Celtics will be able to fend them off. I'm looking for Ray to have a good game tonight.

Its cool (and a bit weird) seeing all the respect being shown between the two teams fans.

We should win this one, Philly is a team on the rise, but we are just significantly better. If we show up we win. We need to, if we can win our next few games we can start resting the big 3 for the playofss with 4 or 5 games left in the season (right now our magic number for homecourt is like 7.

Well, both teams underwent some sort of resurgence. I think all are satisfied so far how things worked out. The Sixers have obviously a long way to go whereas the Celtics are the frontrunners for the championship. I think nobody is really in the mood to diss (I'm sure, it won't last long) the other team.

So far, Boston managed to close out all games in the second half. I expect more of the same, as the Sixers might be able to hang around for the first ten minutes or so. The Sixers just don't match-up with Boston well. They might sustain somehow either an inside presence or a sole three-point shooting team but if a team merges both elements, they cannot really keep track with it.

If at all, the Sixers stand a chance if their role player can excell (Green had a horrendous night against NJ) and if Thaddeus Young starts to contribute in the offense as well. Obviously, the Celts have to miss some shots to make it possible.

Anyway, good luck!

You mean decrease their minutes right? We don't want to be rusty in the first round. We can rest them after we sweep the Hawks.

Sixers win this one by 8...hate to say it...but C's might be relaxed-and looking forward to the Suns.

I think the C's take this one. They are always out for blood after losing.
