yes but hes a much better fit for the sg spot. hes not a playmaker. all he does is score. hes a sg in a pgs body. the wizards do much better with daniels at pg than arenas at pg which means something.

Out of curiosity, where did you hear that Gil will be playing
the 2-guard?

Mayo or Arenas????
Where is it written that the Clippers have to sign a notorious me-first guy instead of a team player?
This sounds to me like a sadly limited duo to choose from.
There must be lots of better options out there in this big basketball world.

If Gasol and Kobe can work together effectively, I do not see why Brand and Arenas would not work out.

well see kobe is unselfish, unlike arenas. kobe does take ridiculous shots sometimes but he makes them and he likes to get other guys involved. in the first quarter he'll try to get the whole team going. i just cant imagine arenas doing that

So if Gilbert finally gets a good front court prescense on his team, you don't think he'd be willing to give up some of his stats? There's no chance of that happening. Gilbert is a team player, maybe you just haven't watched enough of him to know how he gets his teammates involved. Just because he's the number one option on his team doesn't mean he takes every single shot. He's got two good options besides him (Jamison and Butler) who get their points game in and game out.

Gilbert is not selfish. Since 03-04, name a season where Gilbert has not averaged over 5 assists a game. Oh wait, you can't.
