Mardy reminds me of Greg Anthony and his Knicks days...the look is very similar...I almost thought Greg was playing for the Knicks again...

Nenad continue's to get better , ok it's the Knicks and they don't guard him at all but still nice to see him getting 20 points again.

I can't wait to read the posts by certain Knicks fans who are going to hype up Wilson Chandler to no end now.

well....Nets did what they needed to do. I know it sounds funny but not having Curry who is a total mismatch for the Nets frontcourt really made it a walk in the park for the Nets.

Krstic was lights out from the perimeter which made the pick & roll w/ VC really too easy. If he can do that for the remainder of the season it bodes well for his future $$ & the Nets.

VC did not have to be at full gears today & he coasted a bit w/ still a very solid game despite some sloppy turnovers in the 2nd half. Harris for a brief spell was also playing a bit to fast/forced but a game like this can make you a bit sloppy.

Nice bounceback game from RJ.

I like the defensive frontcourt of SWat with Diop. They worked well together.

Two big back-to-back games vs Indiana. Hopefully the listlessnesses of facing Knicks doesn't carry over because it will be far more intense next game.

good no drama game for Nets. Win & move on.

Harris wasn't really sharp on offense tonight , but he owned Crawford several times on D .

Everytime we had 3 20+ point scorers this season we won i think .

Swat and Diop, I like the ring of that. I hope to see these two as a tandem off of our bench NEXT season.

KRSTIC played marvelous. The jumper is definitely starting to come back, now what i would like to see is in halfcourt sets he catch the ball in the post and make the defense have to start respecting the Nets inside. I don't care how many points he scores down there as opposed to the points that come off of the pick and pops, but in getting down there, drawing fouls, getting to the FT line just making the defense have to do something else other than load up on Vince Carter will help the Nets in a HUGE way.

But of course, i doubt this happens, and you all know why. Just Krstic returning to form makes things look even brighter for next season.

Carter-Harris should be our starting backcourt for the forseeable future. I think it would be foolish to trade Carter for anything less than a scoring big. I'd see what we can get for Jefferson on the market, another addition by subtraction could do wonders for this roster. If Krstic keeps resurging the way he is, he'll probably receive a solid extension, but we'll see. I doubt Thorn lets him walk since there are no other bigs out there realistically via FA or trade, so we are stuck with Curly, which isnt a bad thing as long as he continues to get better and hit those shots. Aside from SWAT/DIOP and possibly Boone, everyone else on the roster is expendable.

I don't see the point in Frank not playing Swift. Boki is horrible. At least give him a shot.

When you have 4 bigs playing good-ok you don't need a 5th , none of these guys can play at the wings ....

Boki's been bothered by the back and hasn't been playing that good but still his shots get way more respected then any of our bigs besides Nenad .

If Nenad truely is back next season is gonna be CRAZYYYYY!
2 all star wing players a top 10 up and coming PG and an extremley solid big man in Nenad well thats 42-49 wins right there.
Rebuild the bench and you have a contender.

New coach is the #1 priority I think, but Adam is right. With a healthy, active, properly used Nenad Krstic, we have one of the best starting fives in the NBA.

Okay, say we don't trade our core, which is Krstic, SWAT, Jefferson, Carter, and Harris. That is solid right there, i expect Sean to become a 10ppg 7-8rpg contributor next season if he puts in a good summer of work and doesn't get lazy. Boone is a keeper if you ask me unless he can be packaged in a deal. Resigning Diop is a must. We still have marcus to back up Devin or be packaged in a deal. Ager has to prove what he can do, Hassel i like because when used properly will help us on the defensive end. Swift we are stuck with but thats not a bad problem to have because he is an athletic big and he will be an expiring that we can use to make a mid season mini deal if possible.

If Dallas can hold on we've got two 1st round picks, one of which could be the lottery(ours). I think if things work in our favor, we will have enough tools to go about bolstering the bench. Realistically, we arent gonna get a big combo better than Krstic and Diop, Boone and Swat. I say make another play for Mike Miller, whatever happens though Thorn needs to aggressively add a shooter(or two) to the roster at the SG/SF spots. I think better coaching and schemes can improve our team defense as a whole. We have size, speed, two 20 point scorers at the starting wings, a lightning fast PG that can defend and break down the d, and a big man that score inside(when given the ball down there) and can stretch the d. i think we will be one of the surprise teams of next season.

This will be a great summer.
