I had to watch that Iggy dunk on Perkins after blowing by Pierce with 9:45 in the 3rd 4-5 times. After being told countless times how Iggy can't do that, I thought it must have been someone else. But low and behold, it was a black shirted #9.
Just a great game by Iggy overall, against a great team, and a great player (who he held to 9 points below his season average). Iggy gets his hands on more basketballs defensively than just about any player in the league. Simply amazing the amount of fast break opportunities he creates. He also has a nack for getting tough rebounds in traffic.
Great game by Thad, too. Can I echo the "can we please run some plays for the man" sentiments of fire? Geez.

I cant believe he didnt show up. Not even once. Sendem is a punk who cant even stand up and take it like a man. He showed his true colors tonight. I hope he never comes back. I bet hes at home wackin off to a picture of Dala usin koolaid as lube. God, I never hated anyone on a internet forum before but I must say I hate him. At least Ricky showed up and gave Sammy some credit when he had a good game. Sendem is a punk.
Andre Miller is a bad 3pt shooter.

I missed the game, but from reading the game recap, 19-0 run? Do the Sixers own the 4th quarter or what. The Sixers keep proving me wrong over and over, and I love it.
Best post of the thread.
I can almost forget last season's mishap to finish off the season. This kid is going to be amazing. He can/will be our Shawn Marion on the defensive end. He'll give us so many options on both ends. Now only if we could fast-forward 2-3 years.

We can run plays for Thad next season...when he's 20.

You see how well Iggy plays when he does all of the things that I criticize him for NOT doing? He finished quite a few plays STRONG around the rim attacking the paint in the halfcourt offense in ways that I have rarely seen from him throughout his career, but he accomplished it SEVERAL times in this one game alone. He looked like Latrell Sprewell from his Warriors days last night with all of the steals and fastbreak dunks.
For a player that turned down $11.5 million per year, last night should have just been a slightly above average game for him. It's not like we witnessed a 40 point explosion. I want to see these sorts of 28 point efforts every other night. I want to see Iggy attacking the basket taking contact EVERY NIGHT!
So now Iggy has shown up against a superior team big time. Now I want to see him not get abused on defense by skilled tall athletic SF's like Hedo, Prince, Lebron, Odom etc.

That does not matter to the "criticizer's". There sole purpose of posting during the games is to display their fantastic knowledge of the game by criticizing players and coaches during the game. Coach Cheeks may very well get coach of the year honors for this season and it wouldn't matter ... the criticizers would still continue with pointing out trivial things that didn't work out or just old-fashion name calling. It is just in their nature. Kind of sad ... it seems their joy comes from pointing out bad things instead of cheering for good things.

Except we can benefit OUR CLUB by running plays for Thad now.
I'm not talking about developing Thad. Obviously, he's a young kid and we have years to do that. I'm talking about running a play or two for him in the half court might help our team.

I hear what you are saying, but Thad is doing so many good things right now solely on instinct...why confuse the kid by "forcing" him to do more right now?
Perhaps part of the reason why he has been so effective is that he can just go out and play, and if we start running plays for him, we will create pressure that he may or may not be able to handle. Heck, Iggy is just now being able to handle the pressure....
I don't want Thad to think that much...just let him keep doing what he is doing.
