Can't believe I put in 4 hrs in this game to see that ending. Makes me embarassed to be an NBA fan. My buddies always talk about how NBA games are rigged and the officials are horrendous and I always laugh it off. Well...after that call, I can't. How do you explain that?

I don't see how strictly enforcing the rule on lane violations, albeit in a silly way given the situation, is the same as making up an offensive foul that takes away a possession that could change the outcome of the game.

Why doesn't fisher get the credit for this, such a veteran move?

it was a lane violation and the right call. do you have eyes, or a brain, or anything resembling intelligence at any level?

Yeah but that was the right call. Kobe crossed the line, and he did so in order to intentionally mess with Ellis on his shot. That's two violations.

Nah dude...fans hated em last year when they were 7th too.

Nah, they mainly hated Kobe smoking their teams offensively.

Refs don't make players hit their free throws or their shots.

It was a lane violation. You can't step in the lane and jump back while someone is in the act of shooting. If you could players would do it on every FT.

For those who watched on KCAL, how did they view that call?

I switched over to NBA TV after the 3rd quarter

lmao omg at stupid Laker fans.

Theres a difference between questionable calls through out a 48min game and a total botched call during the last 4sec of a game.

Stop being insanely stupid.

This reminds me of the Washington game last year when the refs called a foul with 0.1 sec left on the Warriors, then called a technical on Nellie and give the Wiz a 1 point victory. The refs must take one game from the Warriors every year, surprised it hadn't happened yet.

you have to put the calls in context..a bad call in the 1st quarter isn't the same as a call that decided the game in OT..let them play..it wasn't like he intentionally pushed him to the ground..

Warriors would have needed a 3 instead of a 2 to tie. Again a one possession game. Regardless...that call at the end took away that possession. GS didn't even have a chance. What I am upset about is that the refs decided a great game. Slice it anyway you want it...but thats a fact.

Because not all veteran pull cheap tricks like this to win games. They say Bowen is a dirty player, but Fisher is nothing more than a cheater.

Kobe better be kissing the refs and his teammates feet in the locker room. Particularly Odom. Talk about getting your ass completely bailed out.

I dont get how people say that call cost the Warriors the game. Last I checked they were down by 2 with 4 seconds left, Who says they would have made the shot.

Maybe they should have played better D and not given Odom his easiest shot of the game. How you give up a WIDE open layup with the game on the line is beyond me. The mental lapse on D cost them the game, not that call.

Bottom line is......you shouldn't put yourself in the position where the refs can decide the game.

exactly, it was the right call as opposed to the monta foul which was clearly a phantom call made clearly with bias. only the 10 year old laker fans would argue otherwise, of which there are just too many. people from LA are just flat out stupid. at least asknowledge you got a freebie you morons
