You want to be civil, cool. You want to pull your typical baiting crap, we can do that too. However you want to play it.

Since the Lakers played such great defense these last two nights. Baron Davis and Monta Ellis could get anywhere they wanted on the floor.

Right, if Lakers got a call like that yesterday I wouldn't blame the refs, i'd blame the defense. Blaming the refs is just an scape goat for some people. If you play better defense and hit your shots, you wouldn't be put in that situation.

Kobe has GOTTA be hte MVP man.

and his 2nd in command is playing the best ball of his career.

Kobe having to play

47 minutes out of 48

and then 52 of 53
on consecutive nights

JEEZUS

him and Odom put their heart and soul to the win and took on the whole freaking GS team.

Kobe shot poorly...but did well when it mattered.

4/16 then 7/14 to end the game.

Once again, the Lakers win.

It was taken away because they were NEVER GIVEN THE CHANCE. I know they may not have made it, but we'll never know, will we? That is how the game was taken away. Its like being told you'll get a chance to join the good basketball club in town, and then when you show up the team takes a gigantic :censored: on you. You will feel robbed and cheated because you were never given the chance to prove yourself, and feel the opportunity was taken away from you.

And you Laker fans are the ones who are unbelievable. If this happened to the Lakers there would be a crash on this board from all the obcenities that would be flying around.

Reads the statement. *Looks at the general board, the newest thread*

the irony.......

How did you guys get robbed?? You guys had the chance to win it in the third with momentum going your way.

I can understand being mad at the refs. But why is there so much hate directed at the Lakers fans? We didn't make the call.

And like I said, if the call had gone against Fisher, everyone would run in here and laugh at the Lakers/Fakers/Flakers

It's so funny watching fans try to justify arguably the worst call this season. Even funnier that I couldn't care less about either team and I'm on here posting. I guess I feel robbed too since I watched the entire game. Oh well, good night.

KobeIsKing24 wrote:I dont get how people say that call cost the Warriors the game. Last I checked they were down by 2 with 4 seconds left, Who says they would have made the shot.

Maybe they should have played better D and not given Odom his easiest shot of the game. How you give up a WIDE open layup with the game on the line is beyond me. The mental lapse on D cost them the game, not that call.

Bottom line is......you shouldn't put yourself in the position where the refs can decide the game.

Because that BS Call (IMO) Turned a Possible Game Winning / Tying Situation into a 2 Possession Game For The Warriors With Like 3-4 Seconds Left.

"Who says they would have made the shot."

It was all about the CHANCE of it happening which they got robbed of (IMO) .

If we gave up that layup and got that call against us, I wouldn't blame the call i'd blame the players for not D'ing up.

And if that did happen to the Lakers, people would tell us it wasn't a bad call and we had it coming for all the calls we got. It goes both ways sometimes.

I guarantee you that wouldn't be the case. If you would really be saying it was okay for them to take the ball out of your hands and give it to the other team in a 2 point game with 4 sec left because a screen got the opposing team an easy layin then you must be the greatest person on Earth, or lying...

Correct T-Mac United....Lakers got some bad calls as well. Just so happens that a unfavorable call happened for the warriors at a critical juncture.

But the refs are human. Lakers have had some bad breaks cost them the game as well. In detroit, the refs gave the Lakers a unanimously recognized bad call that would have put the game out of reach for pistons. Instead, Pistons win by 1. It happens.

Tonight's call or the 4th qtr of Game 6 2002 WCF - Which would you guys say was worse? LA benefitting from both atrocities. Both **** ups so incomprehensible that you had to believe something else was going on entirely. So, which one is worse?

Sure you wouldn't. That doesn't mean anything after you just got the call of your season.

Shut up. Anyone remember Detroit vs. Lakers where the Lakers got robbed of the victory on a clearly bad call?

as a lakers fan, i'd be steaming if a chance to tie/win a huge game was taken away by an offensive call drawn by one of the most notorious floppers in the league.

"kobe cuts to the basket, offensive foul!, raja bell takes the charge! suns win!" (broken tv 5 seconds later, realgm suspension 10 seconds after that)

lakers down by double digits at the half and come back

lakers blew a 7 point lead in the 4th with some horrible turnovers... gave GSW a chance to come back..

GSW had plenty of chances to win, but didnt capatalize...
Sasha Vujacic = The Phail Machine = The Ring Blocker

Trade Sasha before he ruins the Lakers next season.

Ha, good point. Bell would pull a stunt like that in a heart beat. Is there any doubt Ginobili or Bowen would, too? Or 75 percent of the foreign players in the league?

Probalby

I could even deal with a flop in that situation.

But having the ref ruin that game after Fisher pulled him down was just awful. No matter who it was

To his credit, Fisher is one of the five(or ten) best floppers in the league along with Nash, Sideshow Bob, Ginobili, Bell etc..

Its all good let the lash out, we ain't care. The number of Laker fans overwhelm the rest of the league. Let them lash out at the lakers instead of the refs.

LOL, yeah. But it wasn't just that call. There was more BS in that qtr. The league flat out made sure LA didn't exit their season that night. Tonight's the first time I got that feeling again. They just decided LA wouldn't lose.
