Because that BS Call (IMO) Turned a Possible Game Winning / Tying Situation into a 2 Possession Game For The Warriors With Like 3-4 Seconds Left.

"Who says they would have made the shot."

It was all about the CHANCE of it happening which they got robbed of (IMO) .

Right they got robbed of the chance, but that's not why they lost the game. They lost the game because of their D down the stretch.

My point is that if they played better D and not given up that layup, they wouldn't have been in that situation. If you put yourselves in the situation where the refs can decide the game(which the did), then you deserve the loss if the refs make a questionable call.

You don't even realize how dumb your thought process is. I'm guessing you'll stick to this twisted homer logic regardess of what anyone says so I'm done.

LOL, yeah. But it wasn't just that call. There was more BS in that qtr. The league flat out made sure LA didn't exit their season that night. Tonight's the first time I got that feeling again. They just decided LA wouldn't lose.

yes, David Stern called the refs on the cell phones they are carrying during Overtime, right before the inbounds and said "make sure the Lakers win, thank you"

LOL...yes, the Lakers are the only team in the history of the NBA to win because of a bad call. Come on, bad calls happen all the time - get over it. There's nothing you can do about it...the refs are gonna do what they're gonna do, and it's not gonna change until coaches are able to challenge calls in the closing seconds of a game.

Another thing - how do the Warriors manage to either lose big leads or erase large deficits to make it close in the fourth quarter almost every game they play?

I could never say that about KG. Even though he is a great player. In some way even in his prime he is Joakim Noah with a jump shot and a little better post game. Outside of that they have the exact same skill set.

Actually, they did. That's why the game was in OT to begin with. But the refs decided they weren't going to let GS capitalize any more...and ended up deciding the game themselves.

I only cared about this game because I wanted the Rockets to get the second seed. I think we will get the seed though, we have an easier schedule than the Lakers.

Bottom line.....

Kobe was GASSED...playing nearly the WHOLE GAME in both games....on back to back nights.....

this guy isnt a spring chicken man....he's freaking 12th year.

PJ cant AFFORD to rest him
and the lakers too the lead in teh 3rd and fourth
wiht HIM on the floor
the whole time

Odom was a MONSTER also

If thats NOT an MVP I dont know what is.

HIs mere presence, playmaking
and shear will helped make this happen.

EVEN on Dead legs man. Through the doubles and triples all night.

Wow.

Thank you for being truthful instead of tring to justify it. I would have been mad about them losing the game had they missed their opportunity there, but that call was infuriating because of the loss of opportunity. I'll get over it, but right now it stings a bit.

The call was a bad call because it should have been a no call. I don't know if fisher was exactly "pulling" him down, but both had contact and that usually goes in favor of the offensive player -- in this situation it should have just been a no call, because it would have such a huge impact on deciding the game.

I could even deal with a flop in that situation.

But having the ref ruin that game after Fisher pulled him down was just awful. No matter who it was

To his credit, Fisher is one of the five(or ten) best floppers in the league along with Nash, Sideshow Bob, Ginobili, Bell etc..

I'll say it again -- it was a terrible call, made even worse by the fact that it came at such a crucial juncture. Even though it benefited my team, my first reaction was, "How can professional officials fall for that?"

Alas, they do. There was a play, either in OT or late in regulation, where Kobe got called for an offensive foul after passing the ball off and Harrington slid underneath him after he'd already left his feet. It was a straight-up college call, yet there it was during crunch time of an NBA game.

Not trying to compare the two in any way, shape or form. Just saying...

does everyone else also remember the Lakers-Grizzlies game earlier in the season where there was a bad no-call at the buzzer involving Lowry(or Conley?) and KWAME BROWN of all people?..at least Memphis wasn't battling for a playoff spot..

82games.com should do a study on who gets the benefit of calls the most.

I just saw the call again. I think it should have just been a no call. But its not as bad as some of you golden state fans make it out to be
