The sonics are Way better than their record

Post#1 » by S0yb3anB0y » Mon Mar 24, 2008 8:07 pm

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE:

When there are bad news for Seattle about the sonics leaving, the team starts to lose alot of games. BUT when there were rumors of the Sonics tanking, they start to beat teams like spurs and go on a mini win streak, and even if they do lose a game it would be very close.

Now that Seattle did not fund for the new areana, it just about killed all hopes for the Sonics staying in Seattle. We are experiencing CLEANSING and building a team for OK city. Say even if we landed Rose and a couple of solid rookies and they were a difference maker, we still will be back in the lottery just because Bennet will force management to take so it will not give Seattle any hopes or momentum on wanting to keep the team.

I don't really get the "not as bad as the record" arguement. You are your record. That's all that matters, the record.

At the start of the season when the Sonics started off 0-9 but they lost to the Jazz and the Pistons in the final seconds, I thought the Sonics were better than there record. But those thoughts faded along time ago the Sonics are not a good team and their record proves it.

Nope, we're really bad. But I'm liking Petro and Green more these days.
from ny, never been a fan of the knicks...

I am sorry. The point I am trying to justify is that Bennet and Management are losing on purpose each time we hear bad news about the Sonics leaving Seattle. They are more than capable of winning and it was shown during the news when analize were questioning the Sonics tanking.

That doesn't make the Sonics better than their record. That's what happens when your vets are traded, best "injured" players are shut down for the year. The product put on the court is as bad as the record indicates.

I'd have to agree with the majority...this team is as bad as their record.

Related side note: I miss Kurt Thomas.

Am I the only one who thinks they're worse than their record?

It's a Christmas miracle every time they win.

if you look at the roster top to bottom, i think their record is right about where it should be.
Don't act like you're not impressed.
