trade Timmy for Miguel Cabrera? I remember this argument a while back.

Tim has been amazing this years. Definitely a top 5 pitcher in baseball

Cabrera would at least have been better than the rumored Roid Rios deal. I might consider trading him when he's arbitration eligible since i don't think pitchers should command as much as an everyday player. There's a boatload of good arms in the low minors right now.

I would do that trade as well. I would probably even do it Lin for Jay Bruce straight up. Its hard to pass up a everyday MVP for once every 5 day Cy Young imo.

I haven't watched much of Detroit this year, but does Cabrera still look out of shape?
