Post#1 » by Magz50 » Tue Mar 25, 2008 1:40 pm

Special game for me as i'm going to be there yay! I have kick ass 100 level seats too and going with a bunch of friends from back home (Australia) Should be a fun night.

I'm hoping we keep up our good play of late and take this out. I'll say Spurs win by 7.

I like our size up front against their lack of outside of Dwight...

Could this be the re-emergence of Michael Finley? I don't wanna speak too soon, though...

Tim Duncan with awesome, awesome defense in that 3rd qtr

Very good qtr!

Great to see Finley bouncing back well from a rough overall stretch recently

Excellent road win! Strange that we have such a great offensive outburst in the first game since Brent re-signed with the team, huh? :)

Nice win

As expected, with Damon not being able to get it going, JV has resumed the (true-sized) back-up PG spot. Quite fine by me, and is the right move. Still nice to have Damon on the bench for depth purposes, though. 7 pts, the usual defense, offensive differing from Jacques = good game for JV.

Finley played just awesome tonight, easily one of his top games of the year, and maybe his best game of the season.

Tony was below-average, still hitting some shots, rebounded, and assisted well, but with Finley coming out strongly, his being off was affordable. I like that with his shot being off Tony played significantly in other areas of the game.

Tim played a strong game overall, wasn't a lot offensively, but definitely did enough there, and was just excellent defensively. Tonight was a great example of why Tim deserves a DPOY award.

Manu was Manu - great, scored from everywhere, defended, faciltated

Definitely liked how Bruce and Ime played between the two of them

Obviously Nelson AND Hedo going out helped, but I'd lean to us still winning anyway. The Magic still competed well without them to the latter part of the 4th, but we controlled a pretty good deal of the 2nd half.

Congrats on the win. Can't expect to beat a quality team like the Spurs, injuries or not.

This was a great game! I had awesome seats too. Man the Spurs looked so good, so did the Magic though for 3 quarters it seemed they couldn't miss a shot. Manu came through as usual and put this game away. It was alot of fun talking smack to the Magic fans around us too in good spirits, nice mob over there. There was ALOT of spurs fans in the building too which was good to see!
