Who Do West Teams Want to Play?
Here are the current standings
1. Hornets
2. Lakers
3. Houston
4. Utah
5. San Antonio
6. Phoenix
7. Dallas
8. Golden State
I'm sure the final standings will change a little. So hypothetically, who are the opponents these teams want to face b/c they think they have a good chance to beat them?
For instance, i think the hornets want to play phoenix b/c they've had their number all year, they play them very well, and they were too fast for them when shaq was playing.

Dwight Howard on his FT struggles:
"I just think everybody needs to stop talking about it," Howard said. "There's more to life than free throws."

For Utah:
1.GS
2.Dallas
3.Denver
4.NO
5.Houston
6.PHX
7.LAL
8.SA
I believe Denver will actually slip into the playoffs, and I think it's likely that Nowitzki's injury for up to two weeks will cause Dallas to miss the playoffs.
The teams in bold are the teams I'm uncertain about how the Jazz would fare, I think the Jazz would do well vs any of the others. Keep in mind that the Jazz have the best record vs playoff teams. They unfortunately play up to their competition so they don't take mediocre teams seriously and they obviously struggle on the road. So pretty much teams with home court will give the Jazz a tough series.

Pretty much. We seem to match up with the Warriors very well, and for whatever reason we seem to have the Nuggets' number. Hard to get a read on Dallas with Kidd in and Dirk out...and although the Hornets look great, Deron always seems to play his best ball against Paul. The bolded teams always seem to thrash us...Spurs and Lakers are definitely the scariest to me. And Ming Kong is right...home court is very important to us no matter who we face.
