Most underutilized or misused players in the NBA
Well who do you believe is a much better player but for whatever reason can't excel in his current team?

Tyrus Thomas.
He barely even plays and even in the few minutes he does play, Boylan doesn't use him right.
He sticks him out on the perimeter to play like an SF, when clearly he is much more effective as a PF. Half the shots he gets are when the shot clock is running down, too.
The few games after the trade he was putting up some good numbers before he was banished to the bench once again.
It seriously bugs me how a guy who could be so instrumental to the Bulls' future success is getting so little burn. He has the potential to be a hell of a player on both sides of the ball, but because he doesn't get time, his natural abilities are going to waste.
The guy ahead of him, Gooden, is playing very well but there's no reason that they can't find 20-25 consistent minutes for Thomas to help him develop.

Kirilenko is a 17/8/4/3/2 player if he were the starting PF for most teams and he were given the ball on offense.
But with Boozer and Okur he really has no place on the Jazz to be that guy, and he can't leave the perimeter to play low post defense for the Jazz all the time.
But that guy is a legit all-star playing power forward for any team.

John Salmons on the Kings, he seems to get it going only when logging a lot of minutes (~30) and take a good portion of the ball handling duties, "problem" is that with Martin and Artest back, and having a PG on the roster, his minutes/shots and role has reduced, and he doesn't produce with the same capacity anymore, during the Kings injuries when he had volume to operate ho posted very good number and performances.
Around the league, I'd say Ben Gordon has a serious case, he has one of best jump shots in the league, quick release, varying positions, and high accuracy, the problem is that Chicago has no one who can create offense, no real dribble penetration (Hienrich can get to the rack but is a bad finisher) and no post up player, and he can't use screens since most of big men in Chicago in the last 3 years don't have range and he's not a good in rolling to the basket, I believe if he plays with a dominant post player, a good point guard or a balanced team, he can rack up great scoring numbers.
